Rental J. Weems's book on "What matters most" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2021 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today I receive 85,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas CA and travel alot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams. God kept to his promises to and for me.

I would think it means "fight", as in "fight against sin in your *own* life", not "fight against society and try to force it into what *you* want"! These guys seem to be conflating the two. It's one thing to go out and vote for what you believe. It's another thing to try and force it onto everyone else.

In Luke 5:32 , Jesus says “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” And according to the Bible, we are all sinners, everyone of us fall short of the glory of God.

@@nickdepaula8236 that does not say repent of sin it says "sinners to repentance" which means he is calling sinners to have a change of mind. "Repent of sin" is the definition alot of these false gospel teachers say and their definition means to turn away from sin which is false gospel.

@@PastorDriscollMinistries hey Pastor Mark, your general message, although I haven’t been able to nail it down to a foundational principle yet, is at least edgy to me and normally evokes frustration. You say so much that is true and good, but then, Satan does too. I’ve been praying for discernment to choose the good when it comes to imaging Jesus and HOW God does war. A phrase that came to me this week is “God’s Sword Heals”. Jesus came in war, certainly, he cut off the head of sin and death. But he did it through self sacrifice and never harmed a single human. He slashed oppression by cutting out the tongue of the idolatrous, deceptive and accusing Pharisees. I expect he wants us to do battle by healing and settling free, not engaging even MORE in the destructive systems of this world. I’d probably write longer and differently if I had the time to meditate on this more, but at this point “Strength is testosterone, it’s identity” sort of sums up how I feel about your teaching. Looking forward to your response.

The word translated "kill" in the King James Bible is actually the Hebrew word for murder. Most other translations get it right. If the ten commandments meant kill as we think of it Israel would have never gone to war and God wouldn't have prescribed the death penalty in the law.

I don't think these guys do... Actually, we're supposed to go more by the two greatest commandments - love God, and your neighbor as yourself. They pretty much sum up the 10 commandments! And yeah, not killing would be part of that! (Cuz why would you kill your neighbor if you love them, right?)

Repent of your sin is not in the bible, it a false gospel. You come to repentance (have a change of mind about something you are doing) for those coming to Yeshua the Messiah it is having a change of mind of who you are putting your faith and trust in as your Lord and Savior who died on the cross and rose again so you could be redeemed. Having a change of mind and believeing on Yeshua. Holy spirit gives strength and guidance and helps to work repentance through you. Im guessing you are using repent as the definition (turn away) which is false.

We need not fight evil. Jesus will come. Biblical events are unfolding before our eyes. We must bring the word of god to those who will listen to the word of god. Otherwise we cannot defeat the evil ones that are prophecised to rule at the end of days. Come what may. God's plan is in motion.

Nice contradiction. If something is prophesied then you can't do anything about it. If everything is gods plan then free will has been a cruel mirage. But nobody is coming, we've been lied to for 2000 years.

Gods will is not evil, disease, death, war and destruction. Man and angel bring that upon themselves through free will. God knows the future and warns us. He also warns us of every word that proceeds out of our mouth. That if we confuse or cause others to question or turn away from God then that persons blood will be required at your hand. Oh what a fearful thing to be on the wrong side of the Creator. Especially having been warned. He gave you freedom to choose. But don’t use that freedom to confuse or stray others

We're not called to wield the sword. Remember Jesus said "He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword"? And that "My kingdom is not of this world, else would My servants fight for Me"? Why would we want to become the very thing we claim we want to fight?

No, the world has been actively pushing God's kingdom down for a long time and we don't engage whatsoever. Thus we are losing rapidly. He is referring to spiritual warfare not marching through the streets to force things on people.

@@johncarlisle552 I guess it depends on the info you are getting right now. So much stuff is flying around; there's Dems talking in public about doing away with the 1A. The press secretary is saying true statements are misinfo and therefore dangerous (implying govt needs to do something about it) just because it's framed with opinions or judegement statements they don't like. I think a lot of ppl believe the authoritarian state sees this election as make-or-break. With that in mind, massive, widespread gun ownership promotes peaceful protection of the 1A and then therefore the rest of the rights. Peace through looking tough, so to speak. This Pastor has had some significant breakthroughs in the last year challenging weak or corrupted Christian ideology so I think he just feels called to stay on that theme. If you go down the list of the first 10 in the Bill of Rights, Dems are developing a habit of treading on almost all of them.
