After playing Joe through the first 2 scenarios of the Circle Undone, I have found that you will not necessarily go through your entire hunch deck every game. There are plenty of rounds where you will be busy doing other things and the top card will get reshuffled into the hunch deck. He is very very powerful and efficient. Building him mostly for combat and using his hunch deck for free clues means you will be picking up most clues without testing for them. The hunch deck also keeps him pretty full with resources, which means Milan Christopher is almost entirely unnecessary. So the hunch deck means you're getting an extra card per round and basically 2 extra resources per round. Add in a ton of free clue gathering in that hunch deck and you have the most action efficient Investigator in the game. - Innkeeper Vase Odin

I've only played the Arkham Horror card game a couple of times last year but have really enjoyed your channel. I love your comprehensive style and even as someone with very limited knowledge, everything makes sense. A lot of KZbinrs could learn something from you, so many unboxings and such simply turn the box upside down and say "ooh" at all the things that fall out. Not you. In depth analysis all the way. I played Joe for the first time and my Weakness appeared during the round when I had Dissonant Voices in my threat area! So there was literally nothing I could do (as far as I am aware) to avoid the -2 XP. So unlucky. Great investigator though.

Great video, I've already called dibs on Joe with my AH group. What's your view on his weakness? Is this just "always hold 2 resources" or isn't it always going to be "lose a turn" for 2 draw resource actions and 1 pay for weakness. Not the worst out that
