I feel you I love skating. I would buy my kids and grand-kids skates and we glide along the sidewalks together or go to the park. I am 64 now...I need to get me some more...They all grown now...but I am not hahahahaha in my heart anyway...I just go slower and stay out the way when I go to the rinks on special occasions. CAli love to you Happy Holidays.

Cascade.....iconic iconic. I'm from Savannah Georgia but I remember when my parents took me to Atlanta Georgia. My aunt Beverly and Uncle Ronald 🙏 took me to Cascade and it was an experience I'll never forget. Beautiful memories 💞

We used to get all dolled up to go to the rink. Met a few boyfriends there and of course, perfected my staking. The best times!

I’d love to skate in ATL someday. I will say I very much prefer to skate with the black community and always will. Those sessions are full of soul and the vibe is lit. I won’t even go to my local rink anymore it’s like a Chuck E Cheese that happens to have a skate floor. JB/ rhythm style not welcome. I have to drive 3 hours away to Chicago if I want to have a good time at a rink where everybody’s really workin the skates. I think a lot of rinks have a serious cultural diversity problem still in 2022. The black community OWNS skating and some people are just salty about it and need to get over it. There’s a silent envy.

Aww! That’s sad. Some business owners don’t understand the importance of advertising then they wonder why people come come to their business anymore. They blame it on something else while they close the doors. That’s a shame. Every community should have a rink

@BOSSGLOSSKAYY4 жыл бұрын
No there isn’t one thing in life that EXEMPTS it. Because it’s a social construct, every single thing in this country has to do with racism and the demise of black people. Do you think we just make the shit up as we go, because we’re bored 😂🤦🏿♀️

Why erthang gotta be bout race tho?
@invadercem26 жыл бұрын
Because it was developed to be that way. How'd you miss that key part in the video?
@memesadboi35706 жыл бұрын
Charles Middleton, I meant everything in general. I feel like nowadays anything with a majority black community is made out to be some kind of civil rights event. I mean look at what happened with Black Panther. It's just unfortunate that nearly everything in the black community is warped in to some kind of political statement.
@MlleNnCo6 жыл бұрын
Buttah Biskitz Why that bothers though that "Black people make political statement" ? Are you actually naive enough to think that "white people" don't make everything political? Because I genuinely I can't keep records of all the movies praising the good (White) Americans saving the world from devilous Russian/Chinese/Vietnamese/Muslims spies/terrorist/rebels, sometime in little less than 24h. But you got what ? 1 single black movie whose "political statement" probably flies over your head... Please give us a break with all the whinings.
@memesadboi35706 жыл бұрын
MlleNnCo, Yeah but most of those military movies are intentionally made for propaganda. Black Panther is a super hero movie made by old white dudes. You're the naive one if you can't tell the difference. Black Panther also isn't the only example of everything that's mostly black being made political. There's also the Black Lighting tv show. This stupid roller skating place. I'm just tired of not being able to enjoy anything like these without some kind of political message being shoved in my face. Also, I find it ironic that the villain of BP is literally a black supremacist.
