My understanding is 10Cr15CoMoV is chemically equivalent to VG10. Main difference is country of manufacture (China vs Japan).

i guess I missed the hype with the civivi but I just ordered one. Almost seems like it was designed to push the German knife laws to the max, and allow for a practical edc. Need to put my wenger I’ve been carrying for the last 15 years into retirement :,)

I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy a double detent knife. Oddly, I still can’t come up with one. It’s the lack of spring tension to hold the blade open that’s put me off. That’s good for my wallet, I guess. Thanks for showing these to us!

Thx 4 the knife barista, fight, comparison etc 😆. I have been trying to decide which of these 2 to buy & I am on the side of the Foosa. It's more elegant & slightly larger with nicer blade & flipper. The Civivi is nice & a FF co-lab with deep carry clip but I'm still leaning Foosa. By the way the 9ther Civivi F Forge co-lab was the Odium. Thx again good vid.

Hello. Personaly for me it is the Stylum all the way. Elegance, blade shape, slimness. A perfect modern gentlemans carry. The Foosa in comparison with that half tanto and chunkier handle for me puts it in the class of general edc more than smart carry. Both obviously good knives but not for the same uses. One for the day and one for the evening maybe. In favour of the Fousa i like the way the blade is hidden when closed. All the best.

Thanks for the great comment! Yeah these knives are interesting, similar on paper, pretty different in reality. I was kinda underwhelmed by the Stylum, just felt unfinished, but not a bad knife certainly. Thanks for watching as always!
