I'd like to see Rarran do a challenge duel against someone where they pick 3 classes that they both play and make decks (using only a couple of expansions), however before they start the duels they compare their decks and any card that they are both using has to be replaced with a 0 drop then it becomes a normal first to win with all 3 decks. It would be interesting seeing them try and make good enough decks while trying to avoid using the same cards as the other player, do you risk not using a good card and potentially allowing it into the others deck? Do you put in a card to deliberately remove it from the other players deck, it could be a lot of fun and mind games.

This is an interesting idea but since both players remove the card I think the best play is always pick whatever the best deck is for the class. Otherwise you leave open the opportunity for you opponent to do the same and if they choose similar cards as you, its mostly a tossup

@@brysonsmith1523 well not exactly, what if you just choose one of each of the good cards or just run the main legendary (like sif for sif mage) while adding under used cards to deny a good deck fully. I'm sure they would do it in a content creatory way in any case.

@@brysonsmith1523 I think the best strategy for that kind of format is to build the most synergy-light meta deck for the class, rather than straight up the best deck. Because one thing you definitely want to avoid is your opponent nulling one of your cards making another one of your cards useless. Here's an example of a failure case. Let's say we play mage vs mage, and we both have Molten Rune. You have Ignis, because that's the best list, I have School Teacher instead. When we compare decks, we both lose Molten Rune, which means that your Ignis is now a 4 mana 2/4 with no text, and I still have a School Teacher. So Ignis is too risky to run.

Hello i am a huge fan of you and thank you for another nice video. I wanne share an idea with you. How about using a hearthstone pack opener simulator and you open 1 pack and then you and your openent pick 1 card after 1 and then open another pack. You both would need to choose then by the cards 1 class and skipp the other class cards or you say you create each 3 decks so there could be used more classes at once. :)

One minor thing right away - I think it would be more fair, if you would do it someday again, to swap who picked the first card after class selection, like right now Rarran picked mage and picked first card, while I think it would be more interesting if it would swap after class pick to, so if for some reason there is some pogger card that is a must pick - you would face a little bit of a problem like "ok, do I risk to pick this class and hope that opponent doesn't pick my favorite card from it?" Again, not a huge problem right now, maybe even not a problem at all, but still. And yeah, amazing video, was not hyped about it from the get go, but this was fun!

45 seconds into the video so grain of salt; however I'd like to see better drafting techniques than simply back and forth which highly benefits the first player. Even something simple such as player (represented by number picking like) 1, 2, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2, 1; or something more ideal like the "Thue-Morse sequence" (1, 2, 2, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, 1...). Off-topic, but YGO-elitism ruffles me. Rarran. As an avid, longtime YuGiOh-player, I'm on your side. Game's not accessible nor really fun/rewarding to learn. Since I'm studying didactics with the explicit motivation of not sucking at teaching myself, I guarantee you: YuGiOh/KoMoney is a terrible teacher. At least when considering modern, scientific and development oriented methods.

Whats the point of this if you two just build two different standard decks. "Being a nice player" is totally against the idea of this concept. Feels like Ecore just turned of his brain drafting the deck, so much more potential for something fun and whacky. Instead, we get to see mostly standard decks with 1/2 cards missing. Edit: oh jesus and Ecore still managed to win easily. Well, at least there was ONE twist in this.
