The Classic All Blacks warn Spain of their danger men | Classic All Blacks vs Spain |

On 21 May, the Wanda Metropolitan Stadium will be playing host to an historic rugby match between the Spanish national team and the Classic All Blacks, a team of former players from the New Zealand national side.
The match was initially supposed to take place on 29 May 2020, but the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic meant it had to be postponed until 8 May 2021. However, last year it had to be pushed back once again due to health and safety protocols. Now, finally, the clash between these two teams can go ahead thanks to the improvement in the situation, and the absolute dedication of the Classic All Blacks, the Spanish Rugby Federation, and Atlético de Madrid.

At least Spain gets to channel in that frustration of their own federation stuffing up the eligibility rules twice hindering their chances of another rare world cup appearance and take it out on the classic ABs. Love the banter though from the old guns in the Classic ABs team itself. 😁

Attitude and mentality of guys like Chris Masoe so different to that of the young guys today. That toughness and dedication is in short supply amongst a lot of the island boys in the current ABs. I suppose they’re all a product of their time.

It's the classics, it means any veteran player can play in it!! You don't have to be a former all blacks to be eligible. Even Rupeni Caucau played for the Classic All Black's against his own country men back in 2013/2014 back in Suva. It's a team of bunch of old blocks who loves the game of footy and loved to get the chance to do it once again with players they once shared the pitch with, whether together or against each other, but get to do it together this time and just to show to the young guns what they're capable of doing still....but most importantly, giving back to their fans!!
