Lauren + Kristin show you how to create the classic french braid. You can double up, do a milk maid braid, or french braid the front of your hair. Either way... here's how it's done! XO

Ladies, I'm a guy and i did it and all of you can too! Honestly the best advice that i can give is don't put too much focus on give every hair braided. Its okay to have a few flyaways if your hair isnt super straight like me. My braid looks majestic and now i can easily do it. Just start small and dont be afraid to add a good amount of hair each time you braid a strand. If you take small bit of hair every time, it'll take you forever and you'll have a lot of hair left out

r u a lion bc I'll be taemin u all night In my opinion, I think french braids look better on me and are easier for me because for ponytails, I always want to make a high ponytail perfect with no bumps. On the other hand, french braids are quicker to do, and can almost always look perfect with no bumps (but sometimes with loose hair).

+Ellie Kirby IKR, Like everytime I do it on myself It looks like a giant messed up braid. Then when I do it on little dolls it looks so flawless.

what if you cut your hair instead of the elastic😂
@aleenolilo8 жыл бұрын
What I do is put my finger inside the elastic and extend it. It'll create a space so you can cut the elastic and not your hair

@angel.789210 жыл бұрын
***** yep, that's what you're doing. You have to cross the hair over.
@Braidsandstyles1210 жыл бұрын
Hi, to do a frenchbraid , just make sure you are adding the pieces in and braiding overwards. Dutch braids and created by adding the hair in and braiding underwards, I hope this helped :)
@urjewishgirl9 жыл бұрын
To keep track of the proper braiding order try going left over the center then right over the center... Now the old right strand will be the new center strand...Gather hair as needed and repeat with a new left (old center+more hair) over the center (old right) and new right (old left+more hair) over the center

I taught myself when I was 14. I literally stomped and cried every time I failed. Sometimes you just have to go at it for hours until you get it perfect. I remember how hard it was. I recommend dampening your hair. It helps to get a tighter braid also keep your fingers closer to your head at the nape of the neck or it’ll end up being lose!

The elastic trick really helps. I have really long hair below my knees so the only thing I ever do with my hair is a braid, and I hate doing only ONE style EVERY SINGLE DAY. Thanks for the tutorial, really helped ;)
