How to make an Old Fashioned (the normal kind):

To make old fashioned jello shots, you'll need:
* a stainless steel pot
* a burner
* a measuring cup
* whiskey
* water
* gelatin packets
* cups, probably?
Step-by-step instructions (this is the 20 shots proportions made in the ep):
* protect surfaces with saran wrap before procedure
* 4/3 cups (320 mL) of water go into the pot
* mix 1/2 cup (120 mL) angostura bitters with 1 cup (240 mL) of water and 3/2 cups (360 mL) of sugar to make your syrup
* 4/3 cups (320 mL) of syrup go into the pot
* 2 packs of gelatin go into the pot (1 per 10 shots intended)
* lightly whisk the contents of the pot, don't go overboard
* heat the pot on medium heat, uncovered for 6 minutes (5 min for the first 10 shots, +1 for every 10 shots more)
* turn off burner after alotted time
* 4/3 cups (320 mL) of whiskey go into the pot (or a little more if you're filming a youtube show)
* pour jello juice into cups, don't tarry
* get water and soap in your steal pot asap
* cool and wait
* drink your punch jelly

Krzysztof Bandyk it's not even an actual federal law. Fucking mother's against drunk driving lobbied Congress to tie federal highway funding to each state's drinking age laws and they still act like that alone is why is less people die in car crashes every year. That's completely ignoring the fact that cars are continually getting better about not killing their occupants in a minor collision and now every state has seat belt laws on the books, whereas 30-odd years ago, none of those laws existed and something like half of all drivers didn't wear theirs at all. And the average car was made of thin gauge steel with shitty reinforcement, poor structural design, and no crumple zones/ABS/airbags/traction control/etc that we all expect cars to have these days. Not all cars were shit then, to be sure, but most cheap cars were and have since been turned into rebar.

You could add an Orange Oleo-Sachurrum to the Angostura Syrup and then your Old Fashioned Jell-o shots aren't missing that orange zest. You'd have to work out the sweetness of the syrup to the bitters again but it'd be delicious
