The interior is thoroughly cleaned in order for me to not die simply by just sitting in the car and breathing. I would just not breathe when I'm in it, but I would die from that too.

So I just realized that I said the new headrest speakers are 10 ohm and the originals are 8 ohm, but it’s actually the other way around! Please lower the pitchforks and extinguish the torches. I was confused at that part as I realized something was backwards in the statement but just brushed it off as it doesn't matter. I have 3 Ohm satellite speakers connected to my receiver which recommends 6 or 8 Ohm speakers. I have those channels turned down and I also never turn the volume up that high, if I did max out the volume it would probably trigger over current protection.

What I learned from this series is that I would cut every corner at the first sign of a significant problem. Broken bolt? Well, that's permanent. Gas tank doesn't quite fit? Longer straps. Ronald is awesome.

That music + seeing a Fiero gives me nostalgic 80s feels! I was 6 years old in 1985; my brother and I would "call cars" on the highway and elsewhere, wherever my mother drove us. Best car we saw was a purple Ferrari Testerosa, speed right past us on the highway, around 1987. We always liked the Fieros too! 😊 Back then, the Ferrari F40 was the dream car! 🙂

@Sigkim I had the same exact issue 2 weeks ago with my 98 cavalier. The oil filter was hard to reach and was on very tight. I ended up needing to take off the passenger side wheel to get it off.

I've cleaned a plenty of very grimy interior bits. Hot water and Dawn dish soap guys! Then condition...all like new. Simple green for tougher jobs but hot water and Dawn goes a long way.

Ron, my very first car in 1986 (my Senior year of high school) was a 1984 Fiero 2M4. I'm just thrilled watching your restore. And you did an amazing job with that interior refit! I laughed when you went over the chronic bowing of the dash foam and your Gorilla glue fix. Just a few years into mine and the bowing out had already started. Good call on the headrest speaker upgrade. And Mr. Mike's upholstery looks cherry on those seats. Hat's off to the guy. He does AMAZING work! Will be looking forward to the next episode. You could probably use a heat gun to warp the door panel into shape, enabling it to fill the window gap.
