I understand Josh is difficult but it sounds more like Clint was more focused on his career and working with other kids to understand how to deal with his own. The thing about that though is Josh isn't those kids. He is not something that comes off an assembly line. Working with other people's kids isn't going to necessarily show you how to work with or raise your own. I feel like a lot of this is Clint defending himself and Josh not getting a chance to speak about any of these matters for himself. I get it's a Clint interview but why have him there then, and why choose to be interviewed by a guy who called your son stupid and that your son was personally upset with. My take from this is that Clint wants to exonerate himself and not be seen as a bad father. He does enable him and he has given up on him. He did long ago. Long live Cobes. 🙏👑

As a fellow regard with some family issues, it is also pretty hard to have a conversation like this when you have so many unexpressed feelings. Like Josh seems pretty aware his Dad has clocked out of his care a bit and that he's mostly a burden to his family, and that is super fucking hard to deal with. Blaming Josh’s trolls for his alcoholism is far more damaging than I think Clint realizes. It basically gives Josh a scapegoat and excuse to never take responsibility or have to go to AA. “I don’t have a problem because If my trolls stopped harassing me, I wouldn’t drink!!” Which is very far from the truth. One of the biggest things we learn in AA is to stop blaming everyone else for why we drink. It doesn’t matter WHY, Clint.

There was a time where I blamed the doctor that first gave me Oxycontin & Dilaudid for a back injury (this was 20+ years ago when doctor's still wrote scripts freely) but it was just an excuse. "This was done TO me" bs... Wasn't helping me at all & I wasn't able to finally get clean until I was finally sick & tired of the constant hustle. It's like working an extra job just finding money and waiting on connects Anyway, stay safe out there man. Even the Roxy's/Dilaudids/Opana's/etc are being faked by cartels, with it just being an unknown fent analogue... I'd be keeping some Narcan on me if I was still in the game. In the 00's you'd hear of a fent outbreak every few years, but for the most part dope was dope, pills were what the imprint said, and poppy pods for "crafting" were cheap and easy to get. CCP had to ruin it, lol

He would absolutely qualify with SSDI and an intellectual disability. Idk, but for whatever reason I know a high proportion of Special Ed teachers, etc that have addict children they enable. That said, he needs AL-ANON just as badly as Josh needs AA/NA. I'm not a big fan of the 12-step program for getting clean, but I've heard really good things about the program for family members and their enabling of the addict. When your son gets on live streams all day every day an airs his personal stuff out…you lose your right to privacy. “Josh’s landlord and neighbors LOVE Josh and his videos.” Clint, we just had one of Josh’s neighbors talk about how everyone in the apartment complex is getting fed up with Josh screaming at the top of his lungs at 3 and 4AM. Josh’s landlords watching Josh throw up on the floor and getting complaints from the neighbors. Josh making his family wait for hours on Christmas; only to get blackout drunk and ranting and rave in the parking lot. “Josh Learned his lesson last Christmas from going to jail.” Yet, two weeks ago Josh was blackout screaming having the neighbors and police show up at 3 AM. When Josh didn’t even know the camera was on. “Josh is an adult. There is nothing I can do. I don’t have the right to put him in a home.” Again, you can stop bailing Josh out and enabling him an telling him it isn’t his fault it’s the trolls. Josh is not a victim; he is spoiled, lazy, no accountability, egotistical, delusional, and Josh brings ALOT of this on himself.
