Bee-tterfly here! Am new to Cass (only discovered last week) and while I've not yet got my system 100% nailed down (I truly am stuck between the two! Surely there are other mutant/hybrids out here, maybe she'll address it someday 🙂 ) but I am nonetheless HOPEFUL for the first time in a very very long time. Once you've failed over and over and finally resigned yourself to just being *broken* in this arena, it's so hard to get past the self-inflicted disgust and battery and loathing. Not only does her methodology and teachings make sense and help *so* immensely but also just her obv compassion, having lived it herself, helps SO, so much. She's not only given me tools, she's made me *want* to care for and help myself again. ❤💗💝

OMGoodness, Cass, Thank you! This is a life changing message. This came up randomly in my feed. As I sit at my piled-high kitchen table and consider the few places that there is some order in my house, you made it clear that I am a visual micro-organizer. So maybe I am not such a lazy, dismal failure. Every weekend my Saturday task is to clean up a room, and it has been something approached with dread and procrastination because I’ve put in so much work and not been successful or was unable to maintain. I am in my 50’s so that is a long history of failure. I even lead a double life of sorts because our almost-horde/cluttered home is a shameful secret that keeps us from ever having anyone to the house. Thank you for sharing your wonderful insight!

Inspiring talk, but being a severe unmedicated ADHD sufferer I was distracted and grasping for key words anxiously promising a solution for a no fail inevitable, overdue, overwhelming task of emptying, cleaning, & closing a 5x7 storage unit ..at 8:00 am this morning... value ranging from :,sentimental, 45 years of collecting , researching, planning, abandoning, sorting, selling, dreaming, creating, preserving, repurposing, yet it is just aging and being unappreciated , unframed, under lock & key, unpaid at times, a constant struggle emotionally & financially I’m consumed & obsessed with achieving the goal of decluttering & organizing with clarity & a clear conscience ,remnants of my life. So I can get a life. A simplified , honest, inspiring collection of memories, all I recall was something about different styles of organizing .. doesn’t mean they are wrong ways. Wow I can’t believe I’m posting this.

If that's what works for you, then go for it! 👍 Just remember, different strokes for different folks. No two people are the same, so what works for me might not work for you, and what works for you definitely doesn't work for me. 🙂 Empty spaces Cause me stress. 🤷♀️ Less stuff means I don't have the "something" I need to do the "whatever", and if I need it once, I'll probably need it again in the future. Dat's how My brain works. To me minimalists are boring people. They don't have a creative bone in their bodies. A painter can make a painting with one tube of paint, but it becomes a masterpiece when you give them a Full palette. 🤔 Have a nice day! 🙂

I’m a butterfly 🦋 I spent years organizing cleaning everyone’s house but couldn’t manage my own & I thought it was because I was too attached to my stuff … but I just had to figure out my style & make it work for me. I’m very visual & I have ADD. Constantly working on 💯 things & forgetting about important things because I never knew where I placed it. I just spent an hour crying last night feeling like a complete failure & terrible mom for having a messy house. I also sell online so I have a lot of inventory & end up keeping way more than I need because “oh I can always sell it later.” Best 30 mins spent was watching your TedTalk & your personal channel.
