Man, how could you leave out one of the most important thing about Nikola Jokic rise. After telling about his bad work ethic you should mention that prior to his MVP season he started to work on his conditioning and shape. Now he is one of the most conditioning athletes in the NBA and one of the strongest coz for several years now he has great work ethic and takes his body very seriously and works hard at the gym after every game. That a big reason of his greatness.

I haven't followed basketball for that much after 2000s, watched the sport news from here and there. Enough to know who's good, who won and who left. But after seeing Jokic passing highlights accidentally one day in maybe 2016/17 on Facebook, I started to get excited about watching basketball again. Hope he win a ring one day. Miami or Denver I don't really mind cause both teams are playing good basketball at the moment

First time i notice him was in Olympic games 2016, when he cold blooded put two free throws against Croatia ( 1/4 finale) in clutch. I was like, no way this kid, and also a center, will make both free throws against one of the biggest rivals, but that boy show no fear.. Since then i follow Denver Nuggets and it is a very pleasent journey.

Ivica Zubac is a product of Cibona, he spent just 3 months in Mega before the draft. Also, manager that OWN a club tells how regular this league is.
@markomarkovic5729
@markomarkovic5729 Жыл бұрын
@Nightbot1 It's not Zibola, but Cibona. Zubac came through the youth system of Cibona, where he made his professional debut at the age of 17. However, the club was in financial trouble, which the manager abused and took him to Mega, in order to take they money from the NBA buyout. He didn't play a single match for Mega in the ABA league, but a total of 8 games in the weak Serbian league. That manager behaves like a slave owner and ruined the careers of many young players, but because of the great success with Jokić, he still brings in talented kids. Not to mention the absurdity of there being a club owned by a manager that competes in the league, and that manager simultaneously has clients among the players and coaches at all the clubs in the league. It's not a competition, it's a circus.
@markomarkovic5729
@markomarkovic5729 Жыл бұрын
@Nightbot1 Izvolte?

We don't trade players in Europe, you either play out your contract and re-sign or sign with another club or get waived. European basketball is more like european football, you have domestic leagues and aa a parallel to the champions league and it's lower tiers you have Euroleague and Eurocup all without salary cap rules.
