Have not seen any 2023 $2 coins.. didnt think they were minted. managed to get 40 sets of the matlidas and 80 sets of vegemites.

My dad and I went to woolies to get the Matildas coins. We probably went throught the checkout at least 10 times. When we were there, we saw a display box for the Vegemite coins (which happened weeks ago) we asked if we were allowed to take it home (obviously it was left there by accident and was prabably going to end up in the bin) and they said YES and now i have a Vegemite display box 😅 Nice video PJ and im so glad your back:)v

Slight update from my comment on last vid, ended up finding out a family friend that lives a few hours away and comes up once a week has a coin machine right next to where he is staying and he is happy to get them for me. I might end up actually noodling more now.

There are no circulated 2023 dated coins with the standard reverse designs. The only 2023 coins with the standard designs were released as part of the proof and uncirculated yearly sets they are the only standard designs with the old QE2 JC effigy dated 2023. Having said that people might break the yearly sets and spend the coins.
