A new scenario came out for this around a year or two ago, though I haven't picked it up yet. It changes the game kinda dramatically as it adds a war element to it. I tend to play this game solo a lot and really enjoy it.

To answer your question at the beginning, the number one game where it feels like I just get my engine going and it stops is Scythe. Which is, incidentally, why I'm not a big fan of it.

I feel exactly the same. Have you played it with any expansions? I haven't and I'm hoping they 'fix' that somewhat?

No, I haven’t played it with the expansions and I’m also wondering if they fix some of my issues with the game (specifically I’ve heard good things about Rise of Fenris)

Bryan very strong recommendation most reviewer’s are lukewarm about it or dislike it. OK I’m all in… I’m ordering one now. Work in foley so i may have to stop by in Mobile show me how to play. JK
