The Color Purple opening night in Los Angeles

The Color Purple national tour opens in Los Angeles at the Ahmanson Theatre on December 16, 2007. Oprah Winfrey presents this Broadway musical based on the novel by Alice Walker.

I was there on the 17th... I cried in the first 10 min! It was so good, If you have any chance to catch it while it's on tour, GO SEE IT!!! IT IS SO WORTH THE 100 DOLLARS! This and Wicked are my favorite musicals!

I saw the show last week, and wow... The show itself I thought was just okay, but there were some really incredible performances, especially by Jeanette Bayardelle. She gave the best performance I have ever seen on a stage. Go see it, you'll be glad you did.

just saw the tour perform last night as the Fox. They were AWSOME. And their voices just BLEW ME AWAY. OH. Go see it if you can! Sofia=BEST CHARACTER EVER
