Great respect to the Colt Python. Since I am a S&W fan with a S&W-586, .357-mag. You know where my loyalties are. Like you I upgraded the straight butt grips to exotic woods, rosewood grips. In the combat style with finger grooves.

I have this gun i put wilson combat rear sight on it i just ordered the 3" as well i bought a set of hogue hardwood cocobolo finger groove grips for it with another set of wilson combat rear sight. I want to see what the hogue grips look like on my 4.25 inch python before i get another set. Update 7/30/2023 I didn't realize I bought mono grips which I couldn't get on so I sent them back I bought altamont fingergroove super rosewood grips which should be here in 4 weeks. I did change the rear sight on my new 3" with WC rear sight.
