I've always thought the best Halloween costume would be a confused Santa Claus. That way you got a suit that works for TWO holidays for the rest of your life.

Matt - in this episode you talk about your discomfort with the word 'tinker', and I feel we're having a moment not dissimilar to when Craig found out his friends hated buttons. Growing up, 'Tinker' was what we called fiddling with yourself and to this day I can't stand the sight of the word. I currently live above a business called 'Tinkertopia', which calls to mind some kind of auto-orgiastic hellscape every time I walk by.

I checked the website and I don't think I see it listed so for seen it: 1953 Fritz Lang movie The Big Heat. Just watched it last night for the first time and the violence, implied and otherwise, surprised me for its time. I enjoyed it a lot though and need to watch more Fritz Lang

I bet Paul Regret eventually married Miss Givings. :) I recognized Stuart Whitman vaguely from his having been a tv character actor throughout the 80s and 90s.

hey there. I discovered your channel a few years ago after watching 'forbin project' and then searching out yt vids on it. another forgotten movie that deserves to be looked at again is that one where bill Paxton and his brother Billy Bob find a crapload of money in a crashed plane. that was one hell of a great movie.

Seen it? Past Lives has some of the best cinematography I've seen in years. This quiet, aching story that brought me to tears was exactly what I've been looking for from modern film: intentional writing that subverts cliche and demands attention.

I know how Jason's dad felt. I took my boys to see the remake of My Bloody Valentine. The 20 min naked woman running from the killer at the motel made me feel like the worst dad in the world.🤦♂️

You need to finish the John Wayne Lee Marvin trilogy of movies with Donovan's Reef. A John Ford movie set in the South Pacific. Also stars Ceasar Romero, Dorthy Lamour and Patrick Wayne as an Australian naval officer, bad accent. A fun comedy. Next to McClintock, John Wayne's other comedy, co-starring Patrick Wayne, Maureen Ohara, and Jerry van Dyke.
