One of the best concerts that I have seen on KZbin. Walter, William and J.D were outstanding. I never realized that Walter was such a good singer. His rendition of still moved me to tears. In my opinion, still is the greatest song ever written. Also congratulations to the band. Those synthesizers were smokin’.

Walter “ Clyde” Orange was the co- lead vocalist along with Lionel Richie before Lionel became the lead vocalist after their popularity peaked with the ballads! The Commodores were Pure Funk at first and then they became a pop group with Lionel’s ballads!

Wow....what a treat! I'm a huge Commodores fan and this is the closest I've ever come to seeing these guys in live concert. I collected just about every album they ever made. Thanks for sharing. I have to admit that it's a tiny bit awkward to hear J.D.'s voice on the tunes that Lionel sung on but that's ok. It's all about the music and the memories.

The arraignment of zoom was interesting during this set. For the lyrical verses that were omitted, what was in it's stead was a slower tempo of a somewhat hypnotic instrumental, topped off with the smooth and sweet chorus that made it so captivating.

And I think there's no hope for a true Commodores reunion. Clyde retired, Milan went home to glory, Lionel got too big for his britches, and I don't know where Thomas and Ronald's head is at... Maybe they're too old now.😪😪😪😪 Carry on, William, and JD (The defacto OG)...

I came across this video of the Commodores 25th anniversary once again no Lionel Richie. I think there's something to the phrase don't ever get too big for your britches. All fairness I know there's two sides to a story hopefully one day we can see all these guys back together on one stage one more time.
