2:56:00 how will you know if a mix shader will affect which parts of the texture. For example which one is for bricks and which one for line. Also, if there are multiple colour that what to do
@jb3dstudioАй бұрын
Parts of texture where mix shader works depends on texture only. To know which part will be influenced, u have to actually try adding nodes to mix shader, but like in case of brick texture, shader 1 will always control brick material, and shader 2 for boundary or mortar. So you have to try it each time, and then end up with exactly what u want by modifying things. If you want multiple colors in bricks, consider using color ramp node, connect it to base color in principled bsdf node controlling color of bricks.

@jb3dstudio2 ай бұрын
Opt for Maya,only if u have some experience in it already, if u r completely new to 3D or know very basic stuff, I will advise you to stick with Blender. Currently, Blender is one of the best 3D softwares. Today even short films and movies r being made using Blender, so I personally suggest Blender.
@jaypatel16792 ай бұрын
for job perspective you need to learn maya, because big animation studios uses maya over blender because of some premium addons are available in maya which is very helpful and also the support provided by Autodesk is unbeatable. that's why big studios prefer maya over blender. but for us blender is everything.

chapter 34 creating grass is very hard hard to understand, i mean why cant just create the grass on 3d viewport ,using geometry nodes is killing my motivation to learn blender
@jb3dstudio19 күн бұрын
You can easily create grass by 3D Modeling, not an issue. The only reason I created it using Geometry Nodes is to explain concepts. There are many 3D creators who don't often use Geometry Nodes, they do 3D Modeling of objects. So, feel free to leave that topic, if u feel it's complex.
@dielaughing202318 күн бұрын
@@jb3dstudio For what reason we should use geometry nodes , because i think we can do everything on 3d viewport , so can you teach me for what we need geometry nodes
@jb3dstudio14 күн бұрын
True, you can do almost everything in 3D viewport itself, but geometry nodes allow you to make changes quickly. For example suppose u model a house where u want to have some more windows, so in case of 3d modeling, you have to extrude geometry and do all stuff, but in case of geometry nodes, u can achieve this just by changing value of a parameter in a geo node. You can even check this in Chapter-36, where i have explained this same example in detail at ending of that chapter.
@i.rodrigues498311 күн бұрын
Belief me this guy is right for something as grass (or any thing that repeats it self) using nodes is the way to go. Nodes are also much easier on your hardware.

Bro i has heard that 8 gm ram is not enough for rendering, so please tell how much it's true
@jb3dstudio28 күн бұрын
Not true. I have myself used 8GB RAM for blender, and everything works fine. Now obv, the speed of rendering will be slower, but in most cases, it won't be an issue. Only time where u might feel some difference is when u work on heavy projects, or on physics and sim. You might have to wait a lil longer, but that too will work with 8GB RAM.
@historyagain450028 күн бұрын
@jb3dstudio thankyou for replying, I want to ask one more thing will continuous working on heavy projects affect laptop lifetime
@jb3dstudio28 күн бұрын
Yes, it will. Particularly, overheating will be an issue. If it happens in long run, it will impact ur laptop's life. You can use cooling pad, and try give breaks to prevent continuous work.
@historyagain450028 күн бұрын
@@jb3dstudio I was also reading that people work 200 +hours and then there laptop heat up etc issues and always thought why don't they just take some break and let the laptop cool down ,and later I search rendering can be also pause so why don't they pause rendering and start again when laptop cool down
@jb3dstudio28 күн бұрын
You are right. Personally, I usually never render animations in one go. Anyone with a low or mid level pc should ideally do rendering in breaks when working on big animation projects, to prevent overheating and other issues. Many people actually do that.
