I would also like to add that as a Damian Wayne fan, I hate his storyline in Injustice. I hate it because Damian was someone who actively rejected the teachings of his grandfather and mother, but now that he is 100% fine with Superman being dictator of the world for reasons. The storyline also makes Batman look worse because this was the man who refused to kill some of the worst murderers imaginable, but he cruelly rejects his own son after one accident. He has the right to be upset that Dick Grayson died, but this also looks gross in my eyes because this is still the same man who let the Joker continue living after he brutally beat Jason Todd to death with a crowbar.

Pretty much, he is a brat and quite arrogant, but he wants to go against it because he wants his father to not only be proud of him, but love him too. I like how it wasn’t easy for Damian to get over his more negative traits because that was how he was raised and all he knew, but it is very admirable that Damian knows that he can be better and he is always trying to better himself even if it isn’t easy for him.

I love his friendship with Jon Kent too especially since this friendship allowed him to have the childhood he was denied when he was with his mother and grandfather. It is probably why I find aging up Jon to be rather unforgivable because it denied us more adventures he could have with Damian. Let them grow up together naturally as best friends.

I would honestly love to see Jason and Damian team up more often, they are my two favorite Robins. I have lots of love towards Dick Grayson, don’t get me wrong, I just happen to have more love towards Jason and Damian. I think that in a well written story where Jason and Damian team up, the story could have Jason understand Damian’s anger and violent streak in a way other members of the Bat Family don’t because Jason has that same anger and violent streak too. I think that there could be some really funny moments where Jason and Damian sometimes bicker because they are so much alike and I think that both could have a pretty good amount of sass, but when push comes to shove, they would work together very well because they are still brothers which is how I think the main Robins should see each other in the end.

Also, they're alike personality wise but they come from such different backgrounds, yet they're defined by their upbringing. Jason comes from nothing, addict patents and a life of suffering. While Damian comes from a lineage of powerful and probably rich family, yet cold, violent and addicted to world domination, so a life of suffering still. Both until they met Batman. This pairing would be interesting and brilliant to say the least.

One thing that really bothered me about injustice was that they portrayed Damian as a killer brat who can’t be reasoned with No. That’s how he starts out. But as he gets more integrated into his role as robin he begins to reject and even live in fear of who he used to be As he distances himself from his past he becomes more human picking up various passions such as art, manga, and his undying kindness to animals. It’s actually a running joke among Damian Wayne fans that he collects pets the way his father collects orphans. He’s also shockingly good with little kids. He yearns for acceptance and his more brattish tendencies stem from his inability to cope with a perceived lack of it. All his life he was expected to prove himself and he continues to hold onto that because it’s ingrained within him. He puts so much emphasis on blood relation because from his point of view who else is he? Injustice Damian acts the way ten year old Damian should act not the way teenage and grown ass man Damian should act Injustice is just one example of this. So many stories fuck this up. And all that nuance was lost for so long because for years he was put in the hands of writers who didnt know what the fuck to do with him. And the fan base blames him for it I’m just glad some of the more modern stuff is utilizing him to his full potential

Ok I’ll give Talia one thing. She has chemistry with Batman but NOT Bruce Wayne, and that’s her main issue with their relationship. That’s also one of the reasons catwoman is a perfect companion because she gets along with both sides of Batman and Bruce. Talia gets along with Batman’s cultural and knowledgeable side but that’s pretty much it. According to both of them they were in love and I think she did fall in love and it just happened to be the successor Ra’s wanted but from what we seen Talia also really like Batman for his Genetic potential which is what she got in Damian. We also seen throughout the comics whenever Ra’s try to decide on a different Suitor than Talia fights back or tries to incapacitate said suitor, like she almost did with Bane in the comics. She also had tried this with Batman but only as a motherly reaction to his influence on Damian. So I believe she at the very least LOVED Batman. Also the writer of Damian’s original run admitted that Damian wasn’t a date r*pe baby and that they misread the original 80s run that he was copying for Damian’s introduction. That’s why all this “retcon” that says Batman was a willing participant isn’t a retcon it’s an admitted correction that the original writer admitted fault to.

Which is funny because while I can’t stand Chibusa in the 90s anime, she is a great character and very well written in the manga. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that she is a lot older than she looks and was stuck in the body of a child for hundreds of years which wore on her both mentally and emotionally. Also in the manga she has a stronger bond with the younger version of her mom instead of just having them constantly bicker like the 90s anime did.

Well, my favorite one is when he tries to single-handedly take on the Joker and gets his butt handed to him. That was the best Damian Wayne fail ever; he tries to kill the Joker and ends up getting buried alive. Joker even has to let him go, because he doesn't have the sophistication to escape the trap. It was funny. To be honest, I like Damian Wayne, but only as a kid. Next generation characters are difficult to continue the story with. Damian Wayne has rightly been made the butt of the jokes due to his lack of character development. Even Terry McGinnis was chosen over Damian to be the new Batman.

He is actually really funny in the Harley Quinn show and I wish that we could get more of him. Though I definitely love him the most in the animated movie universe where he got to be a major character because his character arc was so well written because it had him evolve from a brat who didn’t really care about the people around him to becoming a genuine hero that his father could be proud of. I also loved the interactions Damian had with Bruce in the movie universe because while things were a little rough at first you could see genuine love between Bruce and Damian as they spent more time around each other and I liked how much of a positive influence Bruce ended up being towards his son.

I really like the Teen Titans movies with Damian Wayne in it, it is nice to see him interact with heroes closer to his age. I also really enjoy his interactions with Raven in that universe and it makes so the romance that eventually develops between them in this universe very believable and very likable. I also like Starfire in these movies too because she really steps up and becomes a really good leader and older sister figure to this version of the Teen Titans, it also helped that my favorite Dick Grayson romance was with Starfire and this movie universe made Starfire his love interest and does it very well too.

Yeah, her having a sexual relationship with a very emotionally vulnerable Jason Todd who was just brought back to life, is just gross to me. But I am not one of those people who will cry about this being out of character for her, I think Talia at the end of the day is a manipulator, I think she manipulated Bruce when she was with him by letting him think that she may not be all that bad. So her manipulating Jason seems very in character for her to me too.

Wow, I completely disagree. I feel Morrison gave a great deal of thought in Damian's creation. I viewed Damian as very complex but, for want of a better word, believable. -He is Bruce without the benefit of Matha, Thomas and Alfred's parenting. He is (or was) The Black Mirror of Bruce. -His Morrison characterization captured the very real behavior traits of children raised with inconsistent parenting. He desperately strives for parental approval, and resorts to the most extreme actions to obtain that attention because "love" and "approval" were random. He didn't have consistency to build stability. -He is both literal prince and literal pauper. A figure of worship and fear within the League of Assassin's, but expendable and at the mercy of a mad man. -He is also an echo of both his parents. He has the drive of both Batman and Talia, but the awkwardness of Bruce and manipulative power of Talia. His instinct is Batman's brute force, but his natural strength is cunning. -He's brilliant but socially ignorant. -He's arguably the most brutal Robin, but equally perhaps the most compassionate. The others are all called great heroes, whole Damian is reviled and exiled. Jason and Steph have died, but Jason while on a personal mission, Steph while due to a mistake. Damian has died 5 (or 6 depending in the count) times either as a direct sacrifice to save the world or on missions. Even is shown to sell his soul for the mission (again both family influences). Other characters do not even seem to know about most of his deaths and still view him as petty and selfish. Incidentally, I even think the Damian hate is a sign of his strength as a character. The character engages the reader. For instance, I don't care for the Tim character. I find the character to be, well, milqtoast. Just meh (and yes I've read the Dixon run). The character is just me. As meh as the character at the register of Batburger. Readers that dislike the Damian character doesn't seem to just dislike him, they seem to hate him. Now as far as be Batman...my first choice would be Dick with Damian as Robin. However, I do see Damian as Batman (as in Damian, Son of Batman and DCeased. I don't see Cass or Tim or Duke. Damian, like Bruce, has the obsession with mission and the dark drive that Cass, Tim and Duke lack. They all have skills, but part of the "Dark" Knight is the darkness. Batman isn't the "Ninja" Knight, or the "Smart" Knight, he's not even the "Good Leader" Knight. Each of the other three have chosen the light. Dick can be light in the darkness, but only Damian is comfortable in the shadows. As far as Jason, I see Damian and Jason as completely different. The modern Jason acts like kids from consistently neglectful and abusive homes. As such, he doesn't have that hope of approval/affection. He does what he wants because he wants too. He's not obsessed with the mission. He can live in a dark world, but he isn't dark. He's not living on the knifes edge as he decides which way to drop. So, anyway, I see Morrison, his creator, having put a great deal of thought into his character.

I was never a fan of Damien Wayne. No matter how reform he is does not make up for his arrogance in his attitude towards others around him. Also some couples are best left together in alternative realities as a possible relationship. However, in case I agree with Vee Infuso on this as Talia and Batman would never work no matter who they get as the creative team for the story. So yeah in a way I dislike Damien Wayne’s entire existence. I mean the only redeeming aspect of the character is his friendship with Jon Kent, the son of Superman and Lois.

I like the idea of the Batman suit being retired entirely until terry comes along. Damien goes off and continues as Robin taking over the assassins, Tim remains the Red Robin and takes on a leadership role with the JL, Jason just becomes a DC punisher, and Dick becoming the leader of the JL and whatever else he wants. Damian is my favorite Robin, but I respect your right to not like him at all. While I love Damian, I am one of the few fans who isn’t a Bruce/Talia shipper, I prefer to see it as a short term fling Bruce had when he was younger and they parted ways before Talia realized she was pregnant because Bruce being so anti killing, would not be happy with marrying the second in command of a group of infamous assassins that is run by her father. I think one thing I would change is the meeting on Bruce and Damian, instead of Damian being dumped on Bruce by Talia, have Damian actively seek out his own father after finding out who he is and realizing that like his father, he is disgusted by his grandfather and mother being murderers. So basically I would have to where Damian wants to be more like his father and less like his mother and grandfather. I like the idea of Damian eventually becoming Batman, not really because he is Bruce’s biological son, but because in my version of events he put so much effort into proving himself worthy of the bat cowl. But I can understand people not feeling the exact way I do about characters. I also like how your opinion was able to change when it comes to Damian, it is great that you didn’t let your dislike towards him blind you to the point where you are unable to give him a chance in stories where he is well written.

I still hate Damian and also did so after watching most of the movies here and reading the comics they were based on, as well as reading a bunch of the teen titans run with him as the leader. I am neutral on Damian myself. And I despise Batman X Talia (Bat X Cat 4ever). Which... Has nothing to do with what I think of how Damian came to be. I get why it seems disgusting to hear that I love that Damian is a... let's say non-consentual result. But hear me out. Batman is "just a man" (comic book standards, but still) who is about as powerful as a normal human being can be. Yet he too can be non-conned. The crime can happen to anyone. And I think more stories should say that.

Yes, that was indeed him... But I thought that, live action wise, they did him better 2 years prior in *Arrow* season 2, (played by horror specialist Michael Eklund, who also had roles in DC shows like Gotham, Smallville and Legends of Tomorrow) in which his character was a bit more like the one Damian faces in *"Batman vs Robin"* ... The *Arrow* episode _"Broken Dolls"_ felt like a horror movie at times, this show really was at its peak during the first 2 seasons (with a surprisingly great season 5, after a declining-but-still-good season 3, and a mediocre season 4)

I hated Damien at first. Nothing against the character, just his mere existence. He was a case of "Oh shit, not a 'nother one". Now I've been a Batman fan since the mid-70's, & Dick's turn as Robin lasted roughly the same amount of time as my own history as a Batman fan to date. Finally DC let him grow up & become his own man so Batman needed a replacement. Cool. Fans didn't like the replacement so they "killed him off". Also cool, but can we settle on a new Robin now? And w/ a few brief diversions Tim became the de facto Robin. Cool. Enter Damien/ insert string of profanities. And I can't even lay all the blame there either, it's the whole "family" thing & comics' (not just DC) seeming need to have 47 flavours of their popular characters. Green Lantern Corps I get as they cover a slightly larger area than most heroes, but why do we need a dozen Flashes & Spidermen/ women, multiples of too many others, female versions of virtually every male (never seems to work th'other way 'round though), and case in point... too damned many Bats/ batfamily. Enough already! New characters are good, but give them their own identities rather than latch them onto what sells. And despite all of this... the little shit grew on me.

Hush. Is a awesome character and well written and created. (Thomas Elliott) hush was a excellent villain. That's why that story is a must read for any Batman fan. Now the movie where Hush is the Riddler. That was dogsh!t. And the female cheap knock off hush in the new 52 also dogsh!t.

Damian wayne is the most annoying and one of the worst characters in comic books. He is forced on readers to like him. The point they always try to write him fighting other robins and make them hold back infront of him to give him wins is so damm lazy. Not to mention his origin is rape, there's nothing likable about his character.

When I was like a kid or something (younger I mean) I remember accepting Talia as a love interest of Batman. She was never my favorite (my favorite's Vicki Vale and Catwoman is a very close second), I didn't particularly like her, but at least I accepted her as part of the list. That was until Bad Blood came out. That movie opened my eyes to what a shitty couple Batman and Talia make. Now I actually hate Talia. And I hate her relationship with Damian well. When I first heard of Damian Wayne I honestly didn't mind his existence. I'm not a fan of the way Bruce and Talia conceived the kid, but I was neutral on the kid himself. Well, I didn't like his personality much, but I wasn't too exposed to it either as to full on hate the character. Also the way he talks was annoying too. When I watched Son of Batman and Batman vs. Robin I didn't like Damian but I was starting to find good or interesting things in him. It wasn't until the movies that have Damian joining the Teen Titans, being part of the team, etc. that I actually started liking Damian as a character and as Robin. Sure his banter and relationship's with Bruce and Dick are good and I like how little by little Damian bonds with both of them. But also Damian needed to interact with kids his age and having Dick drive him over to the Titan's Towar was what the character was missing. With time he bonded with everyone there (with some more than others) and the most surprising thing for me (as a big Beast Boy and Raven shipper) I actually liked his developing relationship and later little romance with Raven😱 On who should or could take the Batman mantle once Bruce is gone (because he died of old age) I think Damian could be the Batman after Bruce. After having learned everything from his father and after doing all the growing up and maturing he needs to do, obviously. I honestly think I wouldn't mind Damian earning the Batman mantle. What honestly disgusts me though is the though of Dick getting the Batman mantle. But of course, Batman already has the perfect successor in Terry McGinnis. So what are we even talk about here?

Connor is so bad Angel Almost the entire time he’s on the show until you get to the very last season that is the only time he becomes the slightest bit bearable and Dawn’s voice gets on my nerves so bad, but she also starts to get better as the show progresses barely
