Gotta say, this is a well made video. Nice music, pleasant voice, clear information. My only criticism is when you spoke about wind speeds and how sea level affects it, you missed out a crucial bit of information: sea level changes if the world height was also changed so Y 110 might not apply to the player's world if this was adjusted.

I loved hearing Arabesque No. 1 when Star Gazer would come on public broadcasting. Obviously thats a different rendition, it uses synthesizers and digital piano but its nostalgic to hear it in any form.

It's always so interesting to me that no matter what music I choose, there always seems to be someone who recognizes it. It's really cool, thank you for sharing your story! I'll put it in the next video too!

What an absolute beaut of a video. The simple fact you chose this kind of music instead of annoying generic dubstep bull* already makes this tutorial the best out there, not even talking about the quality itself.

This has been a great series to get started since the wiki & Valen's videos give lots of information on how/what but not why/when. I hope you continue some more advanced topics. Also it would be great to have more detail shots of the base (both before and after total rebuild). The starters evolution has been very helpful since trying to just build a large base right off the rip doesn't really fly in this game, but it's been a bit hard to piece it together from video to video when it is a little different each time.

great quality video, excellent choice of music. classical music fits vintage story as much as medieval/tavern/folklore music does, especially during the more scientific parts of the game.

Someone was wondering also: Can't you use water to transport the flour to a single hopper? In experimenting it seems the answer is no, the water destroys the flour after too much time passes

when you say "the quern will fail to produce flour if its randomly chosen direction is blocked", does that mean that the processed grain is destroyed, or that its processing timer is reset?
@VintageCopperman4 ай бұрын
The timer is reset. The quern will not destroy any grain

Great video content, but you may wish to look at and fix your playlist order. It currently plays backwards, currently starting with Part 12 and ending in Part 1.

Is there a functional reason you offset the center of the windmill? Or do you have aesthetic reasons?
@VintageCopperman3 ай бұрын
Oh I forgot to reply. The Windmill was offset by accident. Really the work area I made here was subpar, and I will rebuild it likely.
