Definitely on the list. In the meantime i'll say the only ingredient that needs to be mined for that is Borax or Limestone. Limestone is way easier and more bountiful so unless you happen to have a Borax mine i'd go with that. Limestone can be found below multiple strata but it's easiest to travel for biomes where its on the surface
