Hey guys The Fire Brothers here and in today's video I'm talking about The complete history, lore & power of the Autobot Military in Transformers War For Cybertron. So by now you probably noticed I have been absent for quite a long time now, the reason for that being is that I just been really busy with schoolwork and other things I can't mention on KZbin. But now I'm back and I plan to upload every Friday, this gives me time to work on new videos and put more effort into the work I do, I also plan to do more non-Transformers videos but for the most part Transformers will be something I still cover in the future. But explanations out of the way, today I'm doing a video covering the Autobot Military/government from the Transformers War For Cybertron games and analyzing how strong were they at the height of their power during the war against the Decepticons. In WFC it feels like both sides had equal numbers and no big advantages or disadvantages over each other -Dark Energon is countered by Space Slugs and Cybertron's immune system which killed many Decepticons -Both Trypticon and Omega Supreme wiped our many Cybertronians -The Decepticons took more casualties due to their very-risky offensives and the Prison Breakout at Kaon. Taking prisoners weakened the Decepticons By FOC the Decepticobs only outnumbered the Autobots because the vast majority of the latter have left -Even then, Metroplex and Starscream's leadership and betrayal lead to much more Decepticon casualties than Autobots

Well, no one really won, Cybertron still fell and the Decepticons couldn’t claim Cybertron, no one won, it was just who survived in the end.

More Decepticons died than Autobots in the two games -The Decepticobs were on the offensive most of the time and were aggressive -Taking prisoners waste time and guards. Prison breakouts are very costly -The Slugs and Cybertron itself killed anyone with Dark Energon and since Decepticons have it... -Metroplex not only killed many Decepticons but demoralized and distracted many others. Allowing Autobots to fire without being fired upon -Starscream's leadership cost them dearly

@@christiandauz3742 I think this is a consistent pattern throughout the aligned timeline especially looking at Exodus and Prime. The Autobots on Earth were pretty much only able to defeat the Decepticons through sheer attrition much like in the victories they scored on Cybertron. And this is without the help of the Autobots that were on board The Ark, though its fate still remains unknown after Retribution. Megatron's personal obsessions and addiction to purple drugs did not help the well being of his forces either.

Ever since the energon bridge got activated all Autobots are already losing and to add insult to injury dark energon turned the tides of war earning the firepower to the cons. The Autobots used their remaining resources to power up the ark but at the cost of less defenses until metroplex awakened once more.

Honestly, the Autobots had a lot of good characters that are formidable. Even Jazz himself is someone formidable to face against, he could face the Brutocus and win. The movies did not give him any justice, which is why i do not take it as true to the story of TF. The Autobots had a lot of potential and still do.

However weird it may be....there were still many Autobots scattered throughout the galaxies....I’d say the best clump was on earth...the ships we see leaving in war for cybertron...they dint get destroyed...some of them managed to escape.....in the sequel fall of cybertron situations got worse because thousands of Autobots evacuated the planet....and left ones had to wait the arks completion....most importantly the 8 fellows had plot armour on their side lol

It actually would be a good plot for Megatron movie, maybe something like every Transformer when created is created for a job that he will do for the rest of his live but Megatron (who was a miner) deserted to chose his own path which inspired other cybertronians to do the same (and that's how the decepticons were born)

Great account - in terms of Autobot leaders, there was also Emirate Xaaron, who was a mainstay of the Autobot structure and leader of the resistance on Cybertron in the Marvel comics of the 80s and 90s. It's a shame that he has been completely forgotten in the Transformers iterations of the 2000s. There is also Sentinel Prime, who has at least commanded an active role in the live action 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'. Interesting that the Autobots should be outnumbered. There were always more Autobot characters than Deception ones.

I always think of the Autobots as the faction that controlled Cybertron while the Decepticons were extremely angry Cybertronians that want to rebel. And when it comes to military of both sides and tactics I believe or theorize that when to casualties out of 10 Autobot casualties there are 100 Decepticon casualties for your average battle. @@bootymuncher6928 Well in G1 and the movie bayverse continuity the autobots abandoned cybertron, effectively the decepticons won the planet even though its dead. And in both Shockwave stays behind to find a way to restore it or until his master megatron returns with a way to do so. Wouldn't it stand to reason that since they have control over cybertron autobots would now be seen as rebels/terrorists? It wouldn't be any different than a foreign government declaring all previous members of the prior established government, if overthrown, to be called "enemies of the state."

@@bootymuncher6928 in Bayverse official comics both Autobots and Decepticons were in charge of Cybertron: 2 brothers controlling everything (Optimus as main Leader or something, and Megatron as Military Commander, both were Protecting Allspark as well), but in both Movie-verses Decepticons take over Cybertron like in G1, which makes Autobots "rebels/resistance". Ngl I would love to see Bayverse-like Cybertron again, with Orion and Megatron as literal brothers, and leaders of Cybertron.

Can it *really* be said that the Autobots lost the war? Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, they were still able to whip the Decepticons on MANY occasions, AND they had Metroplex on their side. They left Cybertron because they no longer saw a point in the constant fighting, but I don't think it's fair to say that they lost.

They failed to safeguard the core, but retook it and shut down the core denying the Decepticon’s main goal which was to corrupt the core into producing dark energon which would’ve ended with Decepticon victory.

In another video it said that cybertrons energon supplies were getting dangeriously low and in the video it said that the autobots barely had enough energon to fuel the ark so id say the autobots wanted to leave cybertron before the energon ran out and bots started to starve or shut down in another transformers series its said that both sides hid energon on other worlds. The autobots cant get the energon on other worlds if they dont have enough energon to get into space.

The Decepticons were seen as a popular front that wished to make everyone equal through radical change. Megatron at the beginning of the war lost a lot of support after he utilized brutal tactics. The lower class was easily manipulated by Megatron and so the majority of the population had undying loyalty to him

Sounds like megatron went to the counsel to plead his case about equality and allowing all cybertronians reguardless of what role they were made for to be able to do what they wanted with there lives like if a miner wanted to become police officer they could. I imagine megatron did this because he witnessed bots in less favorable roles being misstreated by bots in more favorable roles like police misstreating miners, etc and when the counsel made optimus a prime he felt that the counsel was saying that they didnt care about megatrons case and on cybertron being made a prime is a big deal and a great honor likely megatron felt that the primes were a part of the system that wanted his case to fail

If the Autobot’s were that powerful then it’s Optimus primes fault for being too soft on the Decepticon. The Shattered Glass Universe version did a better job but their leader was a too arrogant. In the G1 cartoon the Autobot were portray as being under power and the Decepticon had a better military advantage. Megatron was just a better military leader with less resources and he had better gorilla tactics.

The Autobots were not this powerful. The reason they lost was because they were trying to leave (prior to and following WFC) and they were simply not fighters like the decepticons were so they had a massive disadvantage, didn’t matter if they had some heavy hitters because the decepticons had much more that vastly outclassed them on several occasions.
