I’m so impressed with that first video someone made by mashing up press footage and still photos and ride audio. That’s dedication and it’s so well done that most of the time I wouldn’t even know it wasn’t just a pre-made ride video by Disney themselves. Edit: I feel bad that Tony and Marc never got to see their big dream project made, but it is very cool that every time Tony talks about it he can go “and this piece went to World of Motion, and this piece went to Journey Into Imagination, and this piece is still in The Land pavilion, and this piece…”

This was such an enjoyable podcast! I wasn’t aware that Western River Expedition was so far into production when it was called off. I knew that there was a ride in the works before Pirates but man :( Poor Tony

When you were asking where else the voice actor appears that does the hats and glasses part, I yelled at my phone "Orville, in The Carousel of Progress!". Don't they sound similar?

You might already know this but Mel Blanc is The Voice of Uncle Orville. And also the radio announcer and the parrot sorry I love him Disney history.
