I'm glad that they gave her the identity of Valkyrie after her time as Thor. Not only because I'm a huge Defenders fan which makes Valkyrie very close to my heart, but also because it would have been easy, even expected to shove her right back into the background. Letting her continue to forge her own heroic legacy was a much better choice.

Her time is Thor could have been interested but it is handled in such a ham-fisted way that as soon as her identity was revealed Comics sales dropped like 75%. Also Valkyrie is a long-standing really good character, I feel like they could have done something else with Jane along that theme that would have been better suited. There is a ton of Lauren Norse mythology that has yet to be tapped, yet they only want to use pre-existing thanks.

I always thought that Jane was just a love interest supporting character, but she was really sooooooooo much more. An excellent look at a character I thought I knew, but really didn't. Let's keep the Thor characters rolling with a look at Red Norvell, the red headed Thor stand in.

Hopefully, what Thor and Odin did in the comics they can do in the movies for Jane. They have to we have had too many of our heroes hearts broken like Gamora who was sacrificed for the Soul stone, Black Widow who was sacrificed the same and Wanda who's mind was lost to the Darkhold. Hopefully the producers can look in their hearts to make the movies happy again, you know a little return to the good old days which was only like The Avengers and Avengers Age of Ultron.

SPOILER Nick Fury told Thor that Gorr the God Butcher was right about Gods being selfish creatures that revel in human suffering and the world would be better off without them, Thor knew that there were such arrogant Gods out there and he was one of them, and so he knew Gorr to be right in a sense, that's why he became unworthy, but Jane was able to pep talk him into being worthy again

I read Mighty Valkyries Vol 1 3 and I am baffled about where Hela is with the recently deceased body of Jormungand and she asks her own brother’s corpse if he’s dead for real or just dehydrated well she’s the goddess of death she should know because her own blood brother is just laying there lifeless not responding to her questions. So that tells Hela he’s dead.

What do you think is the best thing about Jane Foster who got turned into a goddess by Odin and what would happen if she stayed that way? What is up with Jane Foster having cancer just like her mother? Is this some kind of family curse? What would happen if she stayed as Mighty_Thor or became a Valkyrie in the MCU and joined teams like the Champions team and the Young Avengers? Can you do history of Marvel's the Champions team and the Young Avengers?

I prefer her as Thor BUT follow a page from Avengers Assemble cartoon and just give her the code name Thunderstrike just like the cartoon. Yes, I'm aware of Eric Masterson but that character is basically in comicbook limbo. I think fans would rather have her as Thunderstrike than calling her Mighty Thor as it is kinda confusing. Give her a new hammer not mjolnir, put the 1st universal storm inside that hammer that was previously imprisoned in mjolnir.

just like in the MCU, in the comics, Gorr was foresaken by the Gods that he worshipped and lost his loved ones as a result, so he turned mad, and his rage was amplified by the Necrosword, he went on a rampage slaughter Gods across the dimensions till the Thor trinity (Young Thor, present day Thor Odinson, and Old King Thor) stopped him

Jane Foster is better as Jane Foster, not replacing long-standing, established characters. She has a rich and varied history and if they want to push her into superheroics there are a myriad of other ways to do it.

Apart from Thor himself, Is Jane Foster better at using Mjolnir in the comics compared to Steve Rogers Captain America, Eric Masterson and Beta-Ray-Bill? What would happen if they each had their own Hammer instead of using Mjolnir which belongs to Thor Odinson just like how Beta-Ray-Bill has Storm breaker? I'm not a fan of Jane Foster, at all. She never interested me or impressed me. Turning her into a female Thor was one of the dumbest things Marvel has ever done -- along with cutting off Thor's arm and forgetting he could magically restore it with Mjolnir and/or any powerful Asgardian mystic like Karnilla the Norn Queen or Odin.

The definition of worthy changes writer by writer. Also Mjiolnir is (or atleast was) sort of alive so I guess that it makes sense that the definition for worthiness would change.
