C’est votre avis. Paris n’est pas Londres. Chacun sa vision. La French touch n’est pas là pour imiter les autres ou être conventionnel mais elle cherche à innover. A ses risque et péril : c’est de l’audace 😏.

I was born in 1980 and out of all the Olympic closing ceremonies that I've seen in my life time, London 2012 is just the best. Just don't think it can be ever beaten even in future. I thought my hometown Sydney was great in 2000, but London was something special

But Sydney's opening ceremony is one of the most memorable. If my memory serves me, I think it's probably the first time fancy technologies were used in the Olympic opening ceremonies. I remember my jaw dropped when I watched the rigs and mechanical parts moved around the way they did. Haha.

Attending the Closing Ceremony live was worth the 9 hours of journey (by train) ... The two weeks of the Games (and the Paralympics as well) were amazing. Unfortunately, they were officially a complete failure in the long-term. Participation in sport in Britain has only continued to decrease and the vote to exit the EU can be seen as a reaction against the spirit of London 2012 by our more miserly older generation. I hope Brazil does better out of Rio's Games.

i think Rio will be a real eye opener to the decency of humanity, we've already got the refugee team and they might play a key part in opening our eyes to what we're doing. it is a shame we voted brexit, and on such a close vote number too, and i feel there will be a lot of changes, good or bad, around the world as a result of all the recent events.

yes it was very challenging for japan to hold the Olympics with this pandemic and for that we salute them they may not have the most elaborate opening and closing ceremonies [they could have mesmerized as with their high end technology] but it didn't matter what matters most was that the Philippines got its very first gold medal after 90 years of participating the Olympics and we bagged 4 medals the best haul since 1932

Watched the opening ceremonies yesterday, now I'm watching the closing ceremonies. The London Olympics were a great success on many levals. It seems the Queen made sure the sports venues would not go derelict like so many other countries, they have gone on to be of great use to her people. She took care of the concerns and conveniences of the spectators as well as the athletes. Safe and well thought out for the moment and the future. Bravo, well done.

Actually we were not prepared to host an event of this, but I was amazed of how beautiful it was. We are so welcoming, caring, cheerful, I think maybe pros athletes who lived with us during that period will never forget the hospitality. DO NOT blame us Brazilians by a corrupt government, do not blame the lack of a civilized person to run a country, do not put that blame on us. We are a country where lack everything, where there is no doctor, when you and overcrowding in the hospital, we have 24 hour security, sometimes headed out and do not know if we got back, but we are warriors, we fall today tomorrow raises more strong and with a huge smile on his face, we do not give up the dream. I AM BRAZILIAN very proud, my parents and not the best, but the people here are the best that I can say for sure, and the day you want to make a trip here will always have a Brazilian waiting for you with open arms. @@mattsmith1518 The problem in itself isn't the crowd. The problem is that for whatever reason in this version they've only used the ambient stadium sound taken from what I assume are microphones positioned to pick up the crowd. They've completely removed the sound from the direct feeds from the microphones of the singers, musicians and clips hence why they all sound completely drowned out. I don't know why because the broadcast version had none of these problems, when broadcast they used the direct feed and mixed it with the ambient crowd noise seen here. This problem seems to be unique to the one they've uploaded to KZbin.
