@@mattsmith1518 The problem in itself isn't the crowd. The problem is that for whatever reason in this version they've only used the ambient stadium sound taken from what I assume are microphones positioned to pick up the crowd. They've completely removed the sound from the direct feeds from the microphones of the singers, musicians and clips hence why they all sound completely drowned out. I don't know why because the broadcast version had none of these problems, when broadcast they used the direct feed and mixed it with the ambient crowd noise seen here. This problem seems to be unique to the one they've uploaded to KZbin.

the hype for british musical artists globally was at such a height in 2012 it was insane! they are definitely the most influential country music-wise of the 20th century and i think artists like chris martin, alex turner (my personal favorite), adele, harry styles (my second personal favorite), dua lipa and labrinth have solidified their spot among the top in the world for the first half of the 21st century thus far. definitely my favorite olympics and the opening and closing ceremonies had so much to do with it. music will always be britain’s greatest export and the world thanks them a million times over for it!!! the world would be nothing with the artistry of the brits.

The two weeks of the Games (and the Paralympics as well) were amazing. Unfortunately, they were officially a complete failure in the long-term. Watched the opening ceremonies yesterday, now I'm watching the closing ceremonies. The London Olympics were a great success on many levals. It seems the Queen made sure the sports venues would not go derelict like so many other countries, they have gone on to be of great use to her people. She took care of the concerns and conveniences of the spectators as well as the athletes. Safe and well thought out for the moment and the future. Bravo, well done.

Coming here after Paris closing ceremony. London still unbeaten, and Rio still the best next host being handed over the show and rocking along with it. As much as I love RHCP, Billie Eilish and so on, I found Paris closing ceremony incongruous with the US taking over live from LA and not giving the people of Paris a proper show.
