Supposedly breaking parts extends the amount of time she stays in the area. That is something I have heard, but haven't tested.

Breaking the horns effectively doubles the amount of carves you get so I’d say at least that part break is pretty essential.

Old video, but since she's coming back soon hopefully some players will see this. PLEASE do not kick out players out of the quest because their MR isn't above 100. Doing MR quests doesn't grant MR exp so you cannot know how experienced the player ACTUALLY is. It is your right to kick people out but I just had to say it after struggling for half an hour just to join 1 quest succesfully. Also, I look up and dodge the lava when it falls from the ceiling. Makes it easier. P.s. You might be right about part breaker I really don’t know haha

I think breaking her parts gives you a few more minutes to kill her, just so you don't need to be as flawless with your dps. i never figured that out 'cause I tenderize her chest and arms before slamming her into the wall. instant break.

Only started doing Kulve with the current iteration of the event, and I actually got the Ice glaive very early on - incredibly happy with that, as it gave me an excuse to pick up the IG and start getting into it. Wish I could've given it to you, though, as what I was going for is the ice charge blade. Guess I need to keep farming!

You can meld high rank kulve weapons with HR if you have any left over AND MR Kulve parts at the melder after defeating MR Kulve, so defeating HR Kulve isn't the only option, also, for those of you that haven't encounted high rank Kulve, for the pendants, they are unlocked but not available to you until you defeat AT Kulve, you don't actually GET the pendants however until you slay Master Rank Kulve, so if you are missing the Kjarr Pendant, you have to go back to the HR AT Kulve siege and defeat her once.

They flat out lied to us. She leaves way too easily, its a dps check, just like the seige. Her breath is glitched and can one shot you randomly (1k+ armor and 47 fire defense, and divine blessing secret maxed, im no idiot) and if you happen to cart super early on, she could leave before uou even get back to her. Im not doing this "hunt"

That might be a connection or framerate bug. Since it happens with some monster attacks. Something about the lag that cause the damage to proc multiple times (remember the old old True Charged Slash bug). If you lock or have a stable framerate, you should be fine.

@@yamnbam4346 No, I already tested it and use it several times, and it works, try it. Instead of just dodging her attack, now I can just tenderize its head and do damage, its very useful for soloing since Kulve's fight is just damage race.

After beating MR Kulve you can meld both weapon types at the melder. Only reason to do HR is farming zenny (lol), MR Kulve being to hard for you or farming materials for the melder and you prefer siege over slaying.

Don't need to finish the hr quest. Just do her mr quest and you'll get what you need.

@@TylerSmith-kn7jk yes she does have a dps check. Focus on her front legs and chest and wall bang her every chance you get. It's said that fire melts her armor faster but after that you want to use ice. Lightning works against her armor too. Bring a far caster if you need to change your elemental weapon or want to use a status effect on her. Don't forget felyne insurance just in case. Because of the dps check you need to be aggressive. But don't forget to pick up the shinies while you hunt. Hope this helps.👍

I tried going in at MR 43 with Critical element from some pieces of Azure Rath armour, artillery from some Zorah pieces, spread and Mighty Bow. I was using the Tobi fully upgraded bow during her full coat phase but still barely did 1-3 damage per arrow with each shot. Do you have any advice with how I can make a better build? Or is my Tobi bow just poopoo?

You can go for the Tigrex free meal secret as well. You can also use the elder melder to forge HR Kulve weapons from MR and HR Kulve materials.

Darcblade, i only get 1 Pendant from killing Kulve Taroth "Golden Taroth Pandent" but not getting "Golden Kjarr Pendant" for some reason, btw i've never hunt AT Kulve Taroth, maybe because of it.

Yeah, you have to defeat HR AT Kulve for the ability to get the pendants off of MR Kulve, so if you only slayed the original HR Kulve, you'll need to go back and do it again with AT for the Kjarr one.
