I have seen black parents argue STRONGLY against having school choice for their children because the democrats told them it was racist. It actually seems like people are actually afraid to not vote for the democrats or to disagree with them. I have asked family members why on earth are they going along with this craziness. That's the difference between a rational person and a brainwashed person. A rational person trusts their experience over what other people say is happening. A brainwashed person will believe what they've been told is true over a lifetime of experiences, including lifelong friendships. What they've been told can't possibly be wrong. Many years ago I sat at a table with my father, uncle and my Dad's army buddy. I was 14 and felt fortunate to be at the same table with these real men. These men came with nothing from Puerto Rico, survived the depression and served during WWII. They worshipped FDR and felt the worst Democrat was better than the best Republican. I agreed.
