Be lift lab had a contract with iland to make the group the year after enhypen but because of the pandemic, delays and the canceled their contract with iland. Cause there was certainly no explanation of the voting on the show until the last week. They also kept changing the voting around, which I think was really sus and I was right to be sus. It really seemed that they were making up the rules as they went along. And then they decided to say screw to the voting except for first place. And that was basically picked by the live audience in Korea. So yeah there wasn't really a global vote. It was a show where the producers picked the group, Koreans picked first place and global fans could vote but the vote didn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Id say the hate is prejudice. A 5 member group of similar age doing a bright concept automatically labelled and accused of being a copy. There is no such thing as sticking to the debut concept. This only happened to IVE because Eleven was so obvious with the luxury image turned into fixed royal concept. NewJeans had to go through their debut release with teen girl crush until end of 2022 they came out with Ditto and OMG which established their girl next door concept. They might change for next release that won't fit Himena and 2 months were very short time for Belift Lab to bring in another member to prepare for the debut.

So i am gonna clear a few things up First Hybe already gave CEO position to MHJ because of her renowned work in the industry but she is definitely a sheep in the wolfs clothing because she was trying to make Ador go independent to reach the same level as YG HYBE and JYP by acquiring funds through HYBE shares affiliated with the company Ador. Mind you that Hybe did provide funds to Ador and New jeans as well in their song debut and other stuff where it really mattered but not as much support as compared to Le Serafim that much i agree. And then in the share holders meeting they told MHJ to step down as she was exposed to these illegal activities of selling HYBE stocks but MHJ started justifying her act by accusing Hybe and stating that she did it to make NJ go independent as HYBE made another girl group ILLIT which copied same concept dance style and activities. (On a side note Hybe is just a label company and doesnt create idols. Its the sub companies/training centres like Big Hit Music( BTS and TXT), Belift Lab ( ILLIT and Enhypen), Source Music( Le Serafim), Pledis Entertainment, KOZ Entertainment, and ADOR ( New Jeans) that are under Hybe currently that trains the trainees to become idols and Hybe just helps them publish the song and labels and providing funds for different activities and MHJ was the ceo of ADOR) My question is that even if they copied everything to some extent being in the same industry you can just try out different styles and concepts as a concept style is not something you own lol, New Jeans can try different conecept or even enhance modify their concept meaning showing a different variation of the same concept. I am sure MHJ worked very hard and I dont doubt her hard work but this is something that you have to face as a manger as competion is firece and just because ur doing good in one concept doesnt mean you own that concept so the reasoning she gave is pure Bullshit. Even during BTS era there were many groups that tried to copy BTS concept and style but BTS made changes to their styles and activities each time and overcame those difficulties instead of accusing other groups of stealing their concept style lol.

Why do need another New Jeans? New Jeans is an amazing group all on its own and Ill’it can prove themselves on their own and develop their own identity and I’m sure will be great too . . . This is the problem with Kpop girl groups . .. they have to be compared to an existing group rather than creating a group that can give their own unique style and sound . .. there are too many groups debuting already and we need a fresh new sound from these groups
