My Christian dating experience has been pretty much non-existent. Christian men do not approach me. The unsaved ones, especially married ones, have no problem doing it 🤦🏾♀️

God has your perfect mate for you, first write down what you desire what you need and desire in your husband, because God said.... write it down & make it plain. Talk to your Father God. It is His time for you to marry? Is there anything He wants U2 accomplice or to achieve or to start first, before marriage?

That’s a demonic problem.. the devil ain’t stupid as most people think if we are practicing any of his behaviour he sure will send his agents (wrong men). Secondly Christian men are verrrrry different to Godly men e.g Christian men can be sleeping around with choir members etc Godly men Will Not Christian men want a girlfriend Godly men want a wife. Lastly demons that fight Godly marriage are not small, and can be generational. Audit your bloodline and see marriage situation. They need to be dealt with consistent fasting until you see breakthrough. By then you have to become a Godly woman. Proverbs 31

I agree dudes do not approach face to face anymore... I don't know when the last time I was approached. I'm very friendly and I smile all of that without looking super desperate lol

Enjoyed the video! Excited that “the conversation” is baaaack...the wait is no more! I appreciate the perspectives for sure. I can relate to both of you. I’ve made myself “approachable” which is intentional smiling , initiating conversation “starters”... the “hi, how are you, how’s your day going” and the response from men are good. They respond back with a smile, actual conversation etc etc I had this one experience in the grocery store where myself and the gentleman converse for a good 5min but then after topic was over, I smiled “with teeth” and I stand for a second to linger to SEE what he’ll do, He froze... Didn’t even ask for my number, Social media nothing... I could tell he was nervous and really didn’t know what to do/say after a good convo... The issue I’m see is that AFTER men have good convos face to face, they don’t follow up. Another experience I had recently that I was invited to a church service (church in the parking lot) and after the service, some men and I were talking with other ladies then another man who I noticed was interested “whispered” something to his male friend ...umm excuse me?!?! I’m noticing that men have a difficult practice interpersonal skills because they don’t have mentors or enough to prepare to be good communicators with women. I’m not saying with women that you’re going to marry, women period. I love the example of “8th grade dance” because we’re unfortunately in this awkward space again. Why is that I’m the only one on the dance floor having a good time?!? No one, I mean one one wants to just have fun anymore? It’s just a “dance”... I’m not saying “I do” after the first slow dance ... men? There’s a knock at the door... will you answer it or pretend you’re not a home?!! I’m not big on social media nor does my personality fit the online dating platform, no shade at all. If I was more into social media, I don’t be on 101+ dating sites (thank you Jesus, not though). I’m an extroverted, spontaneous, outgoing woman who wants to have conversation... friends first. Men, don’t assume that the first time you sliiiiiiide in our DMs that’s all you must do. NEGATIVE. Follow up, engage. Practice being inquisitive. That’s my little bit y’all. Blessings!

Thank you ladies! Always love your perspective! Being single for 2 years now, and attempting online dating, I seem to come across men that either aren't ready to "actually" date or have a problem communicating. Also, I would truly prefer to be approached in person, but in this climate that has become difficult with masks and closures of venues. When it comes to being "sociable" I totally agree that we as women should have an approachable disposition.

Oh my gosh! Yes!!! "It's okay if you didn't build your whole empire, before I got here." The guy I like is in this exact mode of thinking.

@@XxMercuriiXx as I've gotten older I've realized I have high standards when it come to men the Lord knows he must be saved sanctified and consecrated in the things of God but I still have never been approached by any 🤷🏾♀️ I take it as the Lord has me hidden right now while he prepares His best for me
@XxMercuriiXx4 жыл бұрын
Roots Over Fruits you better than me. the “hidden” theory has become old and worn out but you are active and positive in your faith where the older I get the more I am barely staying afloat and questioning so maybe that’s why I have a more analytical approach vs a faith based. I commend you for having standards cause people will sure tell you to lower them!

As a D[M]V native. Please don't take it personally. The men here in what used to be Chocolate City, have the advantage of having more than 7 women to each man. They are used to being approached because the supply and demand is skewed. It is ABSOLUTELY worse for the Christian single ladies lolll Smizing, being present, and being intentional is still a chore. I am so BLESSED that you all appeared on my suggestions. After discovering Jamie Hill-Perry, Preston Perry, and Jeanette...ikz stories (Is Faith Based Stalking a thing?! 🤔😆). It's like oh okay, this is a thing but, HOW SWAY?!? Where do I go and what do I do y'all?! You two are giving me the truth AND life I DEFINITELY needed as a newly back in the faith Christian Millennial. Please, please, please do more of these! Y'all are legit the truth YOUNG 👏🏼BLACK👏🏼 CHRISTIANS 👏🏼need to see and hear!
