I would say the tone shifts a little to a more religious one but still very serious. They have great characters with amazing powers, heroes and villains alike. Everyone has a backstory that makes sense and motivates them into the things they do. If I could like this video a million times I would, the analysis was exemplary.

The later episodes are still excellent, but it does feel like it gets more stereotypically shonen and moves away from the unique and grounded themes of season one. By the time they're in China, you could swap all the firemen's outfits for ninja headbands and hardly notice the difference.

Without spoiling anything, I'm just gonna say that the last 3rd of Fire Force is absolutely insane and is one of my favorite stretches of manga ever. Arthur also has one of the best fights in modern shonen and completely redeems himself later. So does Tamaki. Also, 255 and 280.

Arthur is legitimately my favorite character. His delusional mindsxape is great for comic relief, but it also holds him to an honor code that makes him extremely noble honorable. Plus the stronger his delusion the stronger he is. There is a narrative reason for that so its actually goos writing. Plus we find out later on that he was actually shinras guardian the whole time, despite them being at odds with one another. Like i said one of thw beat written characters on the show and my personal favorite.

I watched Fire Force since day 1, and what got me hooked on the show was not only the sound track (ops and eds) but the sound design. I love how bassy the affects sound. It really feels like there's actual weight when they use there abilities and it's just something I've never heard in a show.

this is a very good show. the premise is unique, the conflict is multidimensional, great animation and fights, funky sound design, etc. my gripe with it is that whenever a season ends, the characters have grown but the conflict makes it feel like they've gone nowhere. Each clue in the mystery reveals practically nothing. The enemies never suffer any losses or setbacks and are just plain old annoying to me. It all just makes it feel like the heroes are fighting a pointless battle

I totally felt similar about about the story (based on anime). The premise seemed to be quite mature and interesting, but the way they showed it played out very underwhelmingly ans the heroes ended up nowhere. (worst example imo: the boy that got experimented on and traumatized and then they left him in the hospital, "cos it's best for him". like did they really did show how two extremely traumatized people do good for each other? and the goal of saving him went out of the window)

Finished this manga couple of weeks ago . Goddamn its so GOOOOOD. AND underrated as hell. Demon slayer and jjk DON'T even close to this level and don't deserve to be this hyped. Author of ff atsushi okubo ,also author of soul eater is just GOAT . The more you read his stuff the better it gets . And this incredible artstyle ... This action . Characters . Designs... Just art. And trust me man once you find out why Arthur is so stupid you will love this guy forever . Genius writing fr. Also ,Arthur gonna have one of the coolest fights in manga history no doubt . I really hope anime will still be as good as it is . And more people will find out okubos stuff . Because he is amazing .

Thank you so much for giving my fave anime a chance, giving it the respect and hype it deserves. I literally have avoided looking up fireforce videos on KZbin. Because apparently somewhere along the line someone decided to just bash it and implied everyone else should too. So no one has given it a chance. I really hope they decide to finish this anime because I heard that the writer was so discouraged from the early reactions he decided to quit after he finished the manga. (I could have some details wrong but I last looked up up this information like 2-3 years ago, and may not remember correctly.)

If you loved Fire Force, then you absolutely need to see the movie Promare. It’s pretty much the same thing as fire Force. Only it’s done by Studio Trigger, who did the legendary Guren Laggon, and Kill la Kill series. So the style and flair is times fifty!

Honestly when I first saw this anime was out I didn’t watch it I thought a fireman anime no thanks. Well after season one was completely out I was like know what I am bored I’m gonna give it a try and i had my mind blown. I was like what the fuck did I just watched and immediately became obsessed.
