For the people who want to know who the 8th pillar is, watch the whole anime (2 seasons * 24 episodes each=48 episodes) then start reading the manga at chapter 174 (trust me, it is SUPER easy to find online for free and it is FIRE). Also Nick, as always, keep up the good work!

I find anime hard to read & stay interested… So I just come to KZbin & search “the anime + the chapter + review” & find a charismatic youtuber that does reviews & let them explain each & every chapter. Most of the time they put in screenshots of the actual manga pages so you can actually visualize it as if you were reading it while listening to it be explained.

I’ve always been fascinated by the Fire Force and Soul Eater worlds and the connections between them. Especially when it comes to the matter of the “True Gods” who appear to be deities that affect the world on a cosmic scale, as opposed to simply planetary or even solar-systemic. If at any point you find interest in exploring the powers and existences of these “True Gods” let me know. So far I’ve heard that perhaps the Evangelist is one of these “True Gods” though at the moment the only confirmed “True Gods” are *Lord Death* and Asura from Soul Eater.

A dollar is actually heaven and hell. It’s based on who the person is. Hugue saw it as heaven and he was a firefighter helping people. Everyone else saw it as hell was because they were fighting against the evangelist who is literally there version of God with a capital G. The only people who see it as hell and are on the evangelists side are those with an adolla burst. And hugue said that they might see it as hell regardless. And the cataclysm is fueled by despair not because it’s a bad thing it’s because it’s fueled by the hope for destruction which happens to be despair. I’m on the evangelist’s side 100%

Since they’re technically doppelgängers of each other, either Iris or Amaterasu should have consumed the other right? People needed a "saviour", which is how Shinra was born and similarly people collectively thought of Amaterasu as something kind and loving (the people don't know the reactor has an actual person inside, Amaterasu is what the call the reactor) which manifested into Iris.
