Most of my gaming is in VR now. Skyrim, Subnatica, Fallout 4, Half Life 2 series, No Mans Sky, MSFS2020, American Truck Simulator, Resident Evil 4 and 7, Gran Turismo 7, Serious Sam, all are way better in VR.

What? How does that make any sense? Quickly-obsoleted screen viewing glasses, pinball machines, a gaming chair, a VR haptic suit, and a computer monitor... are going to end up on collector's shelves? I mean, pinball, sure, because people who buy pinball machines tend to... keep pinball machines. But none of that other stuff is "collector" fodder. It's all tech that will be replaced in a few years, and niche enough/in markets that are broad enough, that there are alternatives/collector's aren't going to care about keeping them just to keep them. The Atari thing, maybe, and the little Sega arcade things, absolutely. Hardly "most" of the items, though. I'm convinced you didn't even watch the video.

There's no battery, it's connected via USB-C cable to any device and draws power from it so you can virtually play forever. The question was directed at comfort levels and how long you can comfortably wear these without tiring your eyes like with VR Glasses. That's why he said some people can go 8 hours comfortably because they have anti Flicker tech and anti-blue light so it doesn't bother your eyes.

Xreals are probably the best piece of tech I’ve discovered in a while. My issue with Vr headsets if you’re using them as a screen monitor is that it’s heavy and uncomfortable. With this I can comfortable lie down and have a oled tv on my ceiling The fact I can play my steam deck connected to joycons and have a screen locked to a part of the room is maximum levels of comfort compared to using the device since it’s so heavy on the hands You can also use it on a computer and have an ultra wide display. Genuinely the best piece of tech out their and also it’s not battery powered so you never need to worry about charging it

I used to hate playing my steam deck in my bed because I kept getting a dead arm holding it and wished something like this tech existed and little did I know that it already did and was far advanced. An Oled widescreen monitor costs around 900usd whereas this is close to half the price and I can change the size on the go and also place it anywhere in my view
