I didn’t need another utility knife because I already own several from big box chain stores to tool trucks. But when I saw the a quick demo on another platform, I knew I had to have it. I love this tool so much that I looked them up and found out they’re publicly traded under TBLT & TBLTW. And yes I will be buying theses stocks, specially now they’re so affordable under 2. Dollars.

@hwh6237 2 жыл бұрын
I have been using this everyday (I do hvac) since the beginning of summer. Saw a review on last best tool’s channel. It’s very handy and stands up to a lot of abuse. The quirk is that you have to keep the back side storage free on each mag for flipping the blades around to use the the other side. If it could be tweaked to accept the blade to be put back in on the front side it would be 100%. It’s still a damn good design for someone who burns blades each day like I do.

One trick with these so you don't have to mess with the blade while you're working is to just drop your used blades in a container next to where you're working. If they're clean enough to use again I'll just load all 5 again the other way around. It's only a few seconds, but if you're working quickly and you always need to have that perfect edge it lets you just keep going. Great knives, I should grab another one

I actually had the toughbilt pack out rolling toolbag for about a month (then father's day or something happened and ridgids pack out was on sale) and it's really tough. I tossed angle grinders, drills with bits in them and it still hasn't torn, gave it to a coworker and they still use it. I was thinking about getting this knife and then I saw a bunch of the red army bashing it saying it was more of a gimmick. But I may get one now lol

That is pretty cool. I have a Kobalt utility knife I use and also it’s my loaner knife Incase someone asks me to borrow my knife, that way if they chip the blade or break it, I just turn the blade around or pop in a new one. Why does everyone have to mske there videos needlessly long. Why does anyone care that random people we don't know told you there was a coil new box cutter. Quickly give a run down, inner mechanics etc. Demonstrate product. ( Use it in real world scenarios first to test durability rhen make the video and tell us) thats all. Sorry not just you but im do sick of youtubes bs ads and long ass videos that can be condensed to a minute or a short.

It definitely a cool fidget toy. I purchased one, and ended up dropping the magazine on a hard wood floor. There is a metal tab that is glued in to help with holding the blade for slide out. The fall caused this to pop off. The knife still worked bu that metal part was now no longer attached. It is more practical to have two utility knife loaded with different blades. However, sometimes practicality has to take a back seat to cool factor.

This is cool. I wonder how well it would actually hold up though. The most useful things I see this knife being used for is dry wall and roofing. Which requires a well built tough lock on the blade so it doesn't slip out. My first utility knife was a cheap price of shit and the blade would come loose and fall out.

You can only use the recharge function every other time the blade is dull, you still have to turn it around manually to use the opposite end of each blade... For me it is way too bulky. I often need to cut things in tight spaces and corners where it wouldn't fit too well... The one I use is alot smaller and is foldable AND has 5 spare blades in the handle that you change out manually when needed...
