Nico, I really loved your Chongqing series. Normally I don't like crowded big cities, but somehow Chongqing in your camera brings me the sense of security and peace. The rustyness of the streets, buildings and the dark ambience, people minding their own business - all these small footages bring a weird feeling of welcoming and accepting, and relaxing. Thank you

Chongqing is my favorite city in China. Such a stark contrast from Beijing. Not a Lambo in sight. Just a vibrant working class city. Everything is up the side of mountains. It’s so atmospheric and breathable. Not like the flat walled-off Beijing hutong alleys. Definitely worth the trip.

Yes I think it depends on where and what it is. Here, although it is nicknamed 'The Graffiti Street' I would say these were large art murals as they were agreed on before hand. There is sometimes a stigma around graffiti and street art but I think it can make places really beautiful. I have been to a few cities where it has been embraced and celebrated and it really changes the area. haha yes I think so this place was pretty full.

Sighting a western lady in dress and jacket seated in a gloomy teahouse crammed with local people enjoying tea served without biscuits is more surrealistic than the graffiti displayed along the street itself.
