LOL again Rob, I was the Budweiser Salesman for Toccoa, GA in the late '70' / early '80's. Crazy ass people there.. I carried a shotgun in my beer truck. Especially in a certain part of town.. They tried to break into my beer truck at every stop~~ !

Sounds like me and Memphis.... Drove thru with two 9mm's under the seat of the truck. Stopped at a truck stop in West Memphis, walked in to pay for my gas and you would have thought I walked in with a white sheet on. The (very large) black lady behind the counter asked "boy what do you want?" to which I replied "woman I just want to pay for my fuel and get out of this God-forsaken town"..... I'll take the long way around if I have to go west anymore.....

The Rob "Rabbit" Pitts Chevrolet Chalet! Made me think of King Richard Petty, with his Southren Drawl, You Either Driving a Shovel-"A" (Chevrolet) or a Pony-Act (Pontiac). They don't call him ythe King for nothing, takes him 20 minutes to sign an autograph, and it has the cowboy hat and more loops and swirls then a big block Turbo motor in a Chevette! Shovel-A Chalet!

LOL Sounds like the Ambassador Inn in Manchester Tenn. We stayed there going to Fla once and all this place needed was crime scene tape. They had a shooting in the parking lot and yeah i slept in my clothes. Man What a Trip.

Dude! You stayed at the Toccoa Inn in Toccoa GA. I used to stay there with my college basketball team back in the late 80's. Yes, the guy at the desk asked some of my teammates if they wanted to borrow some of the porno's he had stashed away.

I worked in TV post back in analogue and to make single camera shows the simplified sequence was: Shoot on 35mm film, transfer to video, edit and deliver on video. And on TV it looked like 35mm. So, I'll bet, even though you are squishing for KZbin, the final picture from 8k will probably look better than the 4.

I hear ya. My daily abode keeps it real for me, but through my work I’ve gotten to stay at some pretty swanky places and eat some really nice food. Way more blessed than I deserve and working in an industry that many dudes would give an appendage to be in. I always come home though. Old house, old horse, dumb dog, and one old hen. And an old Towncar to ferry me to work and back.

50 years ago I stayed in a Holiday Inn in East Peoria Illinois. On check in I asked for a quite room. I was given a room on the ground floor on the back side of the property as far from the highway as one could get. I was there to photograph an event. So after wrapping up my job I returned to the hotel just after midnight. As I turn the corner on the back there were 5 police cars. On the balcony just above my room was a "gentleman" wearing a full length fur coat surrounded by several young ladies. Parked in front of my room door (I had placed my bags in there earlier) was a Cadillac coupe painted in a stereotypical color. Some officers were guiding barely clothed young ladies, who were wearing handcuffs, to various patrol cars. An officer approached my car, he suggested I drive around for about 15 minutes. When I returned in 30 all was quite except for a tow truck hooking up to the Cadillac..

he doesn't buy cars at auctions. he buys them from private owners. auctions are not a place to get a good deal on anything. he had a step side obs on mecum for sale recently

I was at a hotel in Jacksonville FL, I travel for work. I came down the stairs at about a quarter to 5 in the morning and there was a lady in a cop uniform taking pictures. I stopped. She stopped. We were awkwardly looking at each other. I asked if something had happened last night and she confirmed there was an "incident". I went back upstairs and took a different route and out another door where a different lady, who I had talked to on occasion, told me that 2 people had been shot in the lobby. Stayed there for another month and they never cleaned up the blood from the stairwell.

Nice. I hope you got a bloody good deal on that stay. Which spot is it? I’ll need to book a week there ASAP. Regular hotels are boring. It’s not an adventure until the need arises for maybe a mop and a bucket to clean up some “incidental blood”. One advantage to staying in THOSE hotels. No one fucks with you. No nosy guests OR employees. Cause what I do with a soon-to-be-prostitute, a pot bellied pig, a python, a huge box of candles, a 64 pack of AA batteries, a tripod, ten American flags of various sizes, and a big 50 pound bag of rice, a bowl full of goldfish, and a dozen fresh eggs is my business and no one else’s. Blood doesn’t mother me. Slipping on blood bothers me. Clean up your mess bleeders.

These stories are still only short stories! They're good stories don't get me wrong but I half expected his stories were like full blown stories but they all end up about 12-15 minutes long! And that 90's coffe come up in a KZbin video just last night! This kid got a new credit card no numbers on it and hated the look of it so he put some electrical tape over the the chip sanded it down with some heavy grain sand paper painted it white painted with that same 90's coffee cup deco on it finished it off with a couple coats of clear coat and I can't even lie it looked pretty rad! Then right after that I seen another video with another guy drinking outta the same 90's coffee cup bu now I'm like what in the hell is up with that! Three times in less than 12 hours, talk about weird!
