I’m wondering how Reorigination would have affected the Earthen, since they aren’t organic. Also, isn’t there a big hole in the Storm Peaks similar to the core way?
@selasiovec85812 ай бұрын
Yes there is. it's been bugging me for years. but in light of the coreway, it could have been something the keepers had to abort on, or it was suppose to be where tyrshold was originally. i'm leaning more towards the tyrshold idea more though, since it looks like the path of the titians went into something there. and half makes sense with thorim, the keeper of storms aka lightning, is right above it.

With the latest collect 100 disc fragments quest confirms a lot of this, and you are very close. 😊 The quest also explains what the crystal in Hallowfall is as well and it is quite a surprise as it is not what we thought, and that there are about seven of them spread around Azeroth.

I'm curious why the definition of the world manifold (engineering -wise) is an air intake for an engine. Seems like that's what the manifold, to power the engines of all the other installations. I also think about how, in terms of ventilation, it would be the way the nerubians traveled around the world, using the titans' air ducts to travel around.

Who's to say the giant golem was intended to quell rebellion. Maybe it was created to defend the isle as one of those many failsafes. Like, if some important thing gets destroyed, he raises to wipe the area out. Similar to algalong, there was no malace behind it. It was simply the best, quickest option to stop mass corruption. Also, many of the titan facilities and constructs have failed or been corrupted(some by old gods by the way) over the untold years since the ordering. Who really knows what the titans goals actually where vs what happened after they left? I'm pretty sure they never intended on Loki getting corrupted by old yog, or the curse of flesh affecting all of their creations. Things dont always go to plan, even for those with failsafes in place.

Nah, the coreway is actually a big gun. Azeroth... well... "That's no planet!" Next time some evil cosmic shit approaches, we're firing that azeroth soul into it by that big fucking gun :D

There's a reason none of this was mentioned before Dragonflight and Shadowlands, because that's when they decided to make titans evil-ish. They were ambiguous before so it's not exactly contradictory, but it's clear that the current direction started in Shadowlands with the whole first ones and 'titan perspective' thing.

I dunno, I been expecting titans to come out as being not as good as they would like us to believe since about wrath, what with all the "wipe out everything" mechanisms and all... Nevermind that, soon as they introduced the beginnings of the multiple primeval viewpoints way back in classic, I started figuring on it all being subjective, depending on which cosmic power one was attached to

Yes the Halls of Origination is very morally ambiguous and not at all a tool for conducting planet-wide genocide

I’m wondering what Metzen thinks of this. It’s abundantly clear to me that the devs under Danuser wanted to trash all of the WC3 roots so they could start anew. First was obliterating Arthas and basically every story beat since then. Second, destroy the titans. I still don’t find any of the lore very compelling or convincing. I think the titans are constrained to order but I don’t think that means they are evil. I don’t think any of the Dragonflight lore convinced me they were evil either. The giant robot coming to punish the earthen also felt forced and rushed to me.

They’ve been bad guy since vanilla? Continuously their keepers and such have been bosses gone crazy with power. If their creations are created in their image, why wouldn’t they be heavily corruptible too.

Because they are not of the titans? The only beings originating from Titans are: human (vrykul), earthen (dwarves), gnomes (mechagnomes), tolvir. Other species like troggs, kobolds, trolls/elves, taurens are natural born races

@@trashak3 All playable races were either made by TItans, come from Titan subordinates, or were molded/transformed by their works. Even the Trolls and Tauren were.

Keep in mind we still don't know anything about Uldaz too. Where it is, what its purpose was, etc. The Maiden of Vitality mentioned it back on BfA. We know the other one she mentioned, Uldoris, is Tyrhold
