Join along as we get rolling into top dressing corn. With some spot nitrogen deficient a load of Urea from Tri Valley keeps the crop growing. As we hit some affect spots and some spots that are growing along really well. Thanks for watching along.

Duff I hate to criticize but you have got to do something different with the markers or auto steer. Those all night planting runs look like Ray Charles was planting

@@KCAATVit matters a lot. Especially when you have wide middles. It adds up to lost yield and then he’s running over more. It doesn’t take but a few minutes to measure and make sure your market arms are correct before you ever start. You have to do it when you Calibrate your GPS.

I am in Georgia. I have a neighbor who will be combining an about two weeks. Corn was planted first week of March. Never liked spreading like that. Don't like getting it on the stalks. We run liquid with a colter / knife setup.

That's funny . We quit running Colter and put out 33 gal per acre of 28 with a 4030r and streamer tips and burn tge shit out of it from 8 to 16 in tall and has zero impact on yield

We absolutely don't spread on wet leaves in the midwest, more prone to having urea burn from pellets sticking on leaves which also wastes the fert... when its dry at least it'll get to the dirt. Before rains are always a plus, but not during...

WOW !!! Top dressing in the rain. Perfect timing. That corn will turn another shade of dark green in a few days. In my past life, I would wait a few days after side dressing in the rain, and walk out in the field when there was no wind, and I could literally hear the corn growing. That's a real thing, you know. Great video.

Hope it is encapsulated cause if it isn't he is going to burn the crap out of that corn. If the stalks are wet (he is spreading in the rain) it will stick to the leaves and get down in the whorl and burn it. If it continues to rain it will desolve and he will be ok.
