Have to laugh seen your pot plants in back ground lol😂

We do 3 - (1) at planting. (2) about waist high - anywhere 3 to 4 feet tall, and (3) at pollination (tassel) time. Broadcasting works fine for us. No digging/trenching/incorporating. Triple 13 is most widely available in our area.

Our corn is growing great. First time planting it. Hopefully we will get three crops off the same ground if the weather lets us. Tell me though why didnt my oysters grow. I planted them the right depth.

Thank you. I didn't know they would need the calcium. Today I have to move the corn to my mother-in-law's. Someone here keeps sabotaging it. I need to give it a fighting chance because it will be over knee high by 4th of July.

Coffee :) We have lots of calcium in the soil and add extra egg shell dust I end up with either raccoons or run out of time it frosts on it here I worry about attracting raccoons to the yard with having chickens now we already lost one to a raccoon I think we are getting a live trap soon

Thank you! This is all I really needed to know about growing corn. I got it to grow fine, and pollinated it, but the yield was bad. Every cob barely had anything on it. Someone told me the ratio of the fertilizer he used but I still didn't know what that meant, ha! Appreciate this video.

I side dressed my corn this past week. We have a lot of rain in the forecast for next week so it should really grow in the next week or so.

The saying "knee high by the 4th of July is from the 17 and 1800's and it was based on a man on his horse, not someone standing.

SOME of mine were belly button high by June 25. (See, it rhymes) I put it in so much Nitrogen with the chicken litter its like the hulk corn. Also, probably the reason its only SOME, as a lot of them never came up and I think it was too much Nitrogen. Just word for the folks out here not to use TOO much.
