Thank you for sharing the way you remove corn kernels from the Cobb. I didn’t think about piercing the center of the cob to remove more of the kernels. I’ll surely do this in the future. I planted corn in my garden last year. It was a while & silver varieties so it would be easier to process & save a lot back. These corn cakes you make are beautiful! I’m keeping that nugget of information tucked away for a brunch or lunch time treat.

Как вещь или там плод, возникает, развивается...создается, проще говоря. Руками или природой, неважно. Я всю жизнь в строительстве. I purchased an inexpensive gadget that efficiently and completely cuts the whole kernels from the cob in seconds. I don’t normally like single use kitchen tools, but this works so well and takes up little space in my kitchen. It’s also safer than using a knife or grater, so I highly recommend it.

An alternative is to use ground corn meal as a substitute for white flour. The 'two eggs and 150mL water' (½ cup) is a clue to proportion. 6-7cm (2 inches) layered in a dish. Cook "steam table" style, or at about 200ºF (100C) for about 25 minutes. Easy-peezy, if you've worked in fast food in the last 20 years, this should be second nature! Cheers.
