Be sure to mention in the video that Guile from SF2 to SF4 was a major and, in SF5, he is Colonel, in Luke's story mode this is confirmed. Another thing in SF5 the script ends with Guile, where Charlie dies in front of Guile again and he disappears out of nowhere against Bison, and in Chun-li's fight with Fang... They ended up with the colonel.... and his revenge that ura in SF4. I've loved Guile since 1991... and it was an injustice to him in SF5...

I only wish Guile did more in SF5. They could've had him fight Bison alongside Nash, or even had him fight Balrog, seeing as he was the only Shadaloo king who didn't fight anyone in the last part. regardless, Guile (and Chun Li) should've had much bigger roles in a story depicting Bison's fall. I feel like the writers of SF5's story hated Guile or something.

Onde again, great video. I really love your channel. Nash and Guile are probably my favorite Street Fighter characters, because they are not just great fighters. They are good men that actually fight for something greater. In Guile´s case, he even puts aside what is most precious to him (his wife and daughter) to fight for the greather good. Like some other people said here, a great character, that deserved more space and respect.

There was a glitch in the Nintendo version sf2, or probably just how the programmers made the game. Guile would launch 2 consecutive sonic booms, the second less than 2 seconds after the 1st. 1 friend I played often back in the day was able to pull off this glitch every now and then.

Charlie Nash taught him those moves. Guile and Nash's chi-force came from a Japanese moon deity (don't know his name), which is why it looks like Guile and Nash are unleashing crescent moon-like waves with their swinging arms and somersault kicks. Just like how the thunder deity "Denjin" (mentioned in one of Ryu's win quotes in SFIII) is the one who granted Ryu and Gouken Sensei the Denjin Hadou-Ken.

I loved the channel and I want to talk about this favorite character that I've played for over 35 years, well Guile was dropped from the beginning by capcom, he makes a character for the American audience and then he drops it, what do you mean? Since when he was created he seeks revenge, he makes that clear even in SF4 saga, but when he reaches 5, he is despised, the most powerful military force in the world called america (this in real life) largest arsenal fleet outside of fighter jets on the planet, can't destroy a satellite (black moons), so they raise a rich sponsor named karin just because she's Japanese (wait, the game is Japanese) and has more money than a nation to destroy shadaloo, so we saw the quartet's union (ryu, ken , chun-li and Karin??). Where is Guile???? it was supposed to be one of the 4 or maybe the 5, saga since SF2... no Guile enters the base with chun and ryu, and suddenly disappears when nash has sacrificed himself again in front of him, and disappears in the fight of Chun x Fang ... and soon after appears ryu x Bison?? where is Guile???? damn capcom, Guile starts defending and saving Chun-Li in the other versions and animes of SF saga, and in this version n°5, he leaves her behind when she carries the child, ryu saving her with hadouken?? how ridiculous was that??? and that's it, everything ends.. as I saw in a video on you tube, Guile's life for capcom went up to fall, where he was so successful for the public, when he came out in SF2, In the February 1992 issue of Gamest magazine in Japan, Guile ranked at No. 4 in the list of Best Characters of 1991. Today it's dangerous not to show up in the next SF tournament anymore.

True. In the final confrontation, ryu, chunli and guile were the final three to enter before charlie arrived solo. Remove guile from that and nothing changes. I blame the protagonist role being forcefully pushed to ryu for this.
