The CORRECT Way to Play USA in Hearts of Iron IV!

When I play as historical USA, the only way I know how to play is by pretending that all the pacific islands actually matter and I can't just naval invade mainland Japan straight away while all their divisions are in China. And you should to.

I love this game and it's complexity, strategy and historical focus, but these are also reasons people can find it hard to get into Hoi4. The endless spreadsheets, statistics, buffs and debuffs can be overwhelming without someone to show you the ropes, which is where this channel comes in!

I'm a Yank, but I've lived in New Zealand since 2016--love how the Aussies are basically "southern hemisphere Americans" and you hate all the same nations we do (in terms of historical war stuff). @@thehottestbandinthe oh no no no, but you don't need to build any. To get yourself started, build infra in all your states that have resources in them, once that's done, build your mils and dockyards
