Only thing I didn't like about the show was they had a "team of people" helping him out like he needed them as a crutch? There was Cisco, Catlin, Dr. Wells and some others but Flash was always a lone crime fighter unless he was working with his Super Friends 👌🏾

Which is pretty bad when in season 1; he was shot from behind and was so fast that he could stop the bullet the moment it touched his neck. This Barry is vastly faster. He didn’t even flinch when a nuke was exploded; he simply went into flash time immediately

@@concretejungle8916 To be fair Cisco was the gadget guy, Catlin was his personal doctor, Thawne/Wells, and Joe are his mentors. In season 1 the team made sense since metahumans were a new thing and each one of the science members could help him identify his opponents powers. Plus at the beginning of the show this Barry was perhaps the weakest Flash since he didn't get his flash time until the later seasons. Meaning he didn't have millions of seconds compare to one second for us. So having people point out suggestions made sense as well. It wasn't until Barry gained his Flash time that adding new people to the team didn't make sense.

Gotta love the inconsistencies in this show, the more you watch the more you witness situations that could've been handled in thousands of different more effective ways by a speedster, but they don't because this way it would be too easy and it wouldn't create tension. Like the bomb in the beginning, I'm pretty sure he could've easily got that all the way to the middle of the ocean in the time it took him to phase through the floor and letting the office get blown up.
