Hi, I'm with the US Military in South Korea, and we watch your videos all the time, and they are great! We were wondering if you guys could do a detailed video about the towropes, chains/hooks, shackles, and winches you use in your recoveries and how you use them. Plus how and when you use air pressure in your recoveries. Thank you and all the people involved so much for bringing these videos to us.

Not a corvair’s first recovery. In May of 1965, I was driving a 1962 spyter, I spotted an older 1948 car off the road with a older guy trying to push his car about 100’ back to 42 street in Odessa across from the coliseum. I drove out to him and offered to pull him to the road and start his car. After explaining how I wanted to do it. He had his doubts but after working with my dad in the oil field, I had experience with vehicles off road. After pulling almost to the road and gathering some speed , he engaged the clutch in second and started his car. After getting my pulling strap off we parted ways. My first recovery with my Corvair. PS: he offered to pay me , I told him just keep his money and get a new battery.

Well Matt lives on the edge of a pocket that is a lot lower in elevation than the rest of Utah. Where I live it usually doesn't hit 90 until Memorial Day. Yeah. Then it stays above 90 until Columbus Day. And it's only 100 from Independence day to Labor Day. In fact, it freezes at night as early as Halloween and we get snow as late as Easter. So it's really mild overall.

Love that Corvair! My story is from the '90s when I was pulled over in my 1960 110, and ticketed for everything under the sun! When I say bone-stock I mean it! That car had no horn, no seatbelts, no high beams, and believe it or not no Park on the push-button automatic transmission!! Come to think of it I don't think it even had turn signals! When I went to court the judge read out everything wrong with that car, then said, you know I had one of these in college and all that stuff was "optional"! He said he loved that car and dismissed ALL charges!! Rock on Bro! I too love those cars!!

Matt, finished is just one person’s perspective. My dad, prior to me coming along into his life, in the mid-1960’s, belonged (still does, even though the club is no longer active), to a car club named The Shifters. His car was a Corvair. I’ll ask about the year, I’m not sure. But I sent him a link to your channel so he can see what you are doing. He lives in NorCal, and is a 4x4 enthusiast, so your Morvair is right up his alley. He’s 82 now, but he liked your channel and have a feeling he’ll tune in again. Keep up the effort and thanks for all you do, not just with recoveries of vehicles and people, but with charities in your community. You are an inspiration and a God send. Blessings....

Hey Matt regarding your allergies, I used to have issues where my allergies would block me up for 2 weeks at a time and gives me sinus infections you wouldn't belief. Now I use a once a day nasal rise, water and some saline solution, and Flonase 2 sprays per nostrils. I'm now 19 months in and no problem whatsoever! Cheap, over the counter and it almost totally eliminated my snoring. Be well.

Yeehaw! Congrats you all! I can't wait to see how the windows are installed. I learned a little about cars from Pat Goss (when he only had a gas station and one could see the engine) and have found the build fascinating. Everyone's sense of humor is awesome, and I love to watch your little dog pack run free.

My brothers first car in 1968 was a 1962 Corvair Monza Spider convertible. I've been a fan of the Corvair all my life! Awesome job! We used to say if you restore an old Corvair and put around $10k into... you can probably easily sell it for $5k.

Ahaaa Corvair brings back so many memories of running a Corvair Dune Buggy. Good friend milled off the two carburetor in necks for 3 each side webber carbs on a 140 heads. Had Covairs stacked in his front yard like cord wood for parts and such. I drove one of his Corvaires for years it was great. The local Home Owners Accession had a fit with the stacked up Corvaires in the front yard. Wish I had a picture to share. Great Videos keem em comin, thanks.

After having watched the Morvair ((and there are still people asking what kinda car is this, when I remember when they were first introduced by Chevy)(I also remember when Ralph Nader said they were the most dangerous vehicles on the road)) so I have seen what an unbelievable vehicle this is all around. The Morvair is without a doubt the most diverse off road recovery vehicle I have seen since I started watching your channel and having looked at other channels. Matt built the top of the line vehicle. I know that the Banana is a workhorse but, I still think Matt should build More air II or Morvair 2.0. Without a doubt he would then have the two best recovery vehicles out there. Thanks for building the Morvair and producing your videos. There are a lot of us out here that can hardly wait for the next video... Then there's the team that Matt has put together, they are each outstanding in their own right. Number 1 is Matt, Number 2 is Jamie, number 3 is Ed, Number 4 is Lizzy, Number 5 is old TomTom (aka TT), Number 6 is Jake, Number 6 1/2 Jefe, Number 7 is ??, Number 8 is ???, Number 9 is????... Not sure of all the back up staff's names. I have trouble remembering my own name sometimes. So forgive me back up staff. Anyway Matt and Jamie have put together one great group of people, I almost forgot the dogs. Here we go again I can't remember all their names but I do remember Peanut, then I think the one that looks like Peanut is Lady, then there is the big one that takes off just about when Matt is ready to pack up and leave. So if Lady isn't right, sorry we do love them all, the dogs. I especially like the care Matt takes with his dogs and how he gets down and pets every dog he meets. That shows his pure love for animals. I guess that's all I have to say after watching the video of the first recovery by the Morvair.
