The cost of an unprofessional GAA to players and managers

The GAA will be fully Semi Pro by 2034, the GAA's 150th Anniversary. There will be a proper Club and Championship structures in place for F AND H, not the nonsense we have now. I can see the Inter County season lasting 6 Months Mar-Aug and the Club Over lapping from Mar- Nov, 9 months, with a full shut down Dec to Feb the coldest months.The GAA take decades to make decisions but August could be shut down for all club players for holidays

When the population goes over 6million, which it will in 30years , and the GAA is still popular by then ,it will be impossible to argue that there is not enough money around for a professional game anymore.

Very simple.get rid of intercounty players playing for their club.they might actually become professional them instead of liking to think that they are.
