It all looks so lovely... My blackbird nests right by my window every year it must feel so safe it pops in the kitchen and wanders round under the kitchen table it's so tame the dog takes no notice at all it's quite remarkable I feed it raisons......l love when you say HITHER @THITHER 😂😂😂

@@parry3231 thank you - yes, we can each do something to make things better. I remember my elderly father with bad arthritis. - never complained but got on his bike everyday to "oil" his bones. My family took a vacation to the west part of Ireland back in the 90s. It was so beautiful and the weather was so nice. I didn't want to leave. I live in North Texas and it is so hot here in the spring and summer.

Hi colette I so love your vids they make my day to wonder through your so beautiful garden which you planted so much beauty mother nature is so beautiful you have inspired me to plant more trees only I have mine in big pots as I haven't land to plant them but live in place with alot of trees around me. Woods river. Wildlife. I'm very fortunate I know. My dream would be to do what you have done. I'm in my sixties now so unless I win the pools lol I don't think I can but miracles do happen. Hello Colette, I hope all is well with you. I just had to tell you that you have inspired me with your home and garden. I simply love how you do not stress to make anything perfect for the onlookers. Some gardening channels can intimate a new gardener such as myself, but not yours I am left feeling motivated. I love your unhurried, laid-back approach to getting things looking so beautiful. I tried to find out if you even do the back-breaking weed pulling and rock/stone relocating that others obsess over every season. The bottom line is I am so happy that I found your channel and hope you are happily gardening away during these stressful times.

The plants 🪴 really pop against the blue paint of the cottage! I also like looking at the poppies, they look so strange before they bloom, kinda like aliens 👽 I watched the whole johnny Depp trial and it confirmed in me why I like being a solitary individual!!I would go and sit in my gardens just to come back to myself. People can be sooo cruel, but mother nature is always there with her branches open for a reality hug 🤗❤I am glad you did a diary today, you are very grounding! Have a blessed day!

Just beginning to green up here in Montana, USA. My little lettuces are almost two inches tall and the peas are just beginning to wind about. I finished sawing up downed branched to clear the firebreak and will be able to haul them out tomorrow. Thank you for the lovely green walk. That beautiful blue really sets off your plantings.

My mom grew these beautiful deep red poppies in Alabama in the 60s. A dear older lady neighbor gave her the seeds. She said they were opium poppy seeds. I have no idea if they were but they were beautiful a crimson so rich, they had black shadows in the crevices of the petals and centers were blackish. My Dad took slides of them. The foliage was such a color contrast the flowers really popped! Wish I had those seeds, but I guess they are not legal. I was just a teen at the time and not interested in plants. Sigh!
