Chris and I had known each other since we were kids and were in several bands together in Winston-Salem as far back as 1984....He was such an enormous talent!...... I became a photographer in college, and a videographer since '86 and have several old shows of him before and since the Basie days...... I believe I filmed his audition tapes back then. We knew he was bound for great things! He called me just about a month ago before Mother's Day, but I didn't get a chance to get back to him.... Another gone tooo soon.....All of us in the music loop of Chris' life in Winston-Salem will miss him always.... - Rest In peace brother.......

Such a loss, just heard today that Chris passed. May his music last forever in our hearts. RIP Chris.
