Definitely something I needed to hear rn. It can be so hard to show compassion and love to the ones who have hurt you or manipulated you, instead of being angry or bitter or even trying to get them back in some way. Jesus tells us to love our enemies and here he now tells us to turn the other cheek. Completely out of character in this world, but completely the character of God everywhere else. It is hard, but so rewarding🫶
