It's Serbian Orthodox monastery of Saint Arhangels. It was built in 1355. by Serbian tsar Stefan Dusan Nemanjic. It was demolished by the Turks in 1455, and Sinan Pasha built Sinan Pasha's mosque in the center of Prizren in 1615, from the remaining material. The entrance is on the opposite side. There are about 10 Serbian medieval churches in the town.

@@fluz2222 my friend, the only monument that is Albanian in Kosovo is the monument to Bill Clinton and the fighters of the terrorist organization KLA All other cultural monuments were built by Serbs, monasteries from the 12th to the 15th century. No one is to blame for the fact that you failed to create any kind of state in the past and that the Serbs were culturally dominant. Today, all you have to do is spout nonsense from the long-extinct Dardanians, Illyrians and other ancient tribes that have not existed for 2000+ years. 10:49 Holy Archangels Monastery was built by Dušan emperor decision in 1341/1342. years, after the miraculous healing of the then incurable disease, through St. Michael, the healer and proven protector of Christian emperors. It's one of the most beautiful Serbian monasteries. In my opinion Prizren is one of the most beautiful cities in Kosovo and Metohija and the main reason is that the city is rich with Serbian and Ottoman cultural, religious and monumental heritage. Mr. Gabriel, I have followed your videos since you started visiting Serbia and I hope these vlogs will be good as well. My advice is to visit Dragas and villages around Dragas (like Rapca, Radesa, Kukaljane, Brod, Restelica, Globocica). These villages belong to Gorani minority and you would be one of the first very popular vlogers to have visited these region. Dragas is about 30-35 km from Prizren. Greetings

Gabriel I’m wondering if you have any advice regarding the Balkan states. My wife and I plan to be in Croatia in October and would like to see Serbia, and Bosnia, as well as perhaps Montenegro. Would you rent a vehicle in Croatia and drive to each of these countries or take a train etc? We could afford to have a car for 10-14 days no problem but I’m wondering what the hassle of crossing borders, parking, etc is like in your experience
@GabrielTravelerVideos2 жыл бұрын
I'm really not sure about that. I rented a car in Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia. But each time I only drove it in that country, I didn't take it across any borders. You would have to ask the rental car company if you were allowed to drive into other countries. Different companies might have different policies.

For your information, Kosovo is still an integral part of the Republic of Serbia, so you cannot say that Kosovo borders Serbia. Only the name Kosovo has a meaning in Serbian. Kos is a species of bird in Serbian. There are many in Kosovo and there are also A place called Kosovo Polje, which is why Serbs call that territory Kosovo. And if you were smart and knowledgeable about the history of Kosovo and Metohija, you would know that Prizren was once the capital of Serbia and that the battle between Serbs and Turks who invaded Serbia. Every town and village in Kosovo also has a Serbian name, so you could not easily consider Kosovo as an independent state, if it is not yet, and especially if you are not from those areas and do not know what The Serbian people have gone through everything they are going through, exclusively because of the Albanians who live there, including America and the NATO organization. God be with us and in us.
