This should've been a TV series instead of a movie. There was so much lore and back story packed into this short film and I think that's why a lot of people tend not to like it. I watched this as a kid so it's one of those old movies that'll be good to me no matter how cringey it might be as an adult 😅 But I would've loved to have seen a fully fleshed out adaptation on TV to really delve into the five lines of Salem and the main boys.

This movie had such great potential the back story of the witch trials and the concept of their powers was just so cool. This movie needed to be longer to really dive deep into the 4 sons so we understand them and how they have come to be who and what they are also the writing was god awful. Overall so much potential with a great cast limited by the budget, length of the movie, and writing.

More or less, yeah. Way I see it: Caleb: oldest, most mature. Accepted as the leader of the group. Takes the dangers of their power really serious (as well he should). Pouge: Caleb's best friend, as close to a second in command as can be with a group this small. Kate's boyfriend Reid: loves to have fun, party and gambler. Often headbutts with Caleb. Closest to a rogue leader, but loyal when it comes crashing down. Tyler: youngest, blends into the background. Sort of a Pouge to Reid's Caleb.

By looks alone: Caleb = Noctis Pogue = Gladio Reid = Prompto Which leaves, though it doesnt really fit, Tyler as Ignis. 🤔 Caleb would be probably closest to Ignis' character with his responsible, big brotherly vibe. I feel Gladio's vibe would work best with Pogue. Prompto's and Noctis' vibes could both fit Tyler. I see Tyler as more innocent, shy, the 'baby boy' everyone would want to protect. Reid is just too...crude for me to feel any of them. Not sweet and innocent enough for Prom, not mature enough for Iggy, way too outspoken and reckless for Noctis and just does not fit Gladio in any way shape or form. But long story somewhat shortened, I agree. I see the relation too. 😂
